JENNIFER GARNER HOPES TO PROFIT FROM HER HOME DECOR SKILLS

There’s a REASON the usually private Jennifer Garner recently opened up her home (which she helped design and had built) to Architectural Digest – she’s getting ready to launch a line of home goods like Meghan Markle and Gwyneth Paltrow. Jen’s aesthetic is soft but sophisticated farmhouse, and you can expect her line of products to match her own taste. From cast iron cookware in neutral tones, to Irish linen bedding and handcrafted Portuguese dinner wear, Jen’s putting the finishing touches on the collection which is set to launch in late fall.

SOME ROCKSTARS LIVE BETTER THAN OTHERS

Not a lot of rockstars have homes that appear in Architectural Digest, but Guns N’Roses drummer Matt Sorum has an advantage. His wife Ace Harper was NOT a groupie – she happens to be a designer – both fashion and home interiors. The couple bought a weekend getaway house in Palm Springs that she remodeled and refurnished – and it includes a cozy outdoor theater – perfect for those warm evenings…

BLAC CHYNA DREAM HOUSE

Who on earth would have guessed that Architectural Digest would have a relationship with stripper Blac Chyna? It’s horrifying but true. Our architectural expert friend Steven Price posted this video on Facebook:
An LA architect named Michael Lehrer managed to keep a straight face while Chyna described her “dream house” – including a sex room. The fact that Blac Chyna has no intention of building a house – never mind the cost – is never mentioned in this startling video. But what has this done to the desperate architect’s “reputation?” Perhaps Lehrer assumes that rappers will now be clamoring for his services…

JENNIFER ANISTON WASN’T CRAZY WHEN SHE PRICED HER HOUSE AT 42 MILLION

Just a year ago, Jennifer Aniston’s Hal Leavitt designed 1970 architectural house appeared in Architectural Digest and she rhapsodized about how it was her dream house. We believed her! But three months ago she put the house on the market for 42 million dollars. (She paid $13,500,000 but invested millions to refurbish.) It seemed unrealistic considering the LA real estate market, but it’s already sold! The Real Estalker estimates that the orange county billionaire buyer, Bill Gross, paid between 35 and 37 million. Jen pocketed a handsome profit and is currently nesting with her boyfriend Justin Theroux in new York.

JENNIFER ANISTON GIVES CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE

Another reason to like Jennifer Aniston. Her incredibly restored 1970 home appeared in the March issue of Architectural Digest and this intrusion of privacy was NOT something she HAD to do. (Of course, it IS kind of fun to show Brad Pitt how far she’s come.) The photos are SO amazing they brought tears to our eyes – glass walls open to the outdoors. Jennifer worked with interior designer Stephen Shadley and she generously opened her home to the magazine so he and his craftsmen who SLAVED to restore the place, could show off their work. This publicity will do THEM a lot of good – she certainly didn’t need it.
