ARMIE HAMMER: LEAVE THE DOG OUT OF IT!

Believe it or not, Armie Hammer even involved his family’s adorable Welsh Terrier, Archie, in his freakish cutting fantasies. He confessed to a girlfriend that he tormented the mild-mannered dog into biting him and then displayed the stitched up bite wound on social media. Lena Dunham looked very together as she arrived at the Jimmy Kimmel show. Besides talking about her book “Not That Kind of Girl,” she discussed her latest venture – writing a four part story for Archie comics. Who would have guessed that we have something in common with “Girls” creator Lena Dunham? It turns out we were both huge fans of Archie comics when we were kids and we collected and saved them. Lena talked about it in an interview, and the Archie Comics company was delighted and sent her a big box of comics. A few weeks later Lena approached the Archie CEO and pitched some story lines she’d like to write for them. They loved her ideas and she’ll be writing Archie and the gang’s adventures in four upcoming issues! Can you IMAGINE?

Riverdale is truly moving into the 21st century. We grew up reading about Archie, Betty, and Veronica, and now they are all embracing the cast from Glee in an upcoming issue. Publishers of the beloved comic want their characters to remain the same through the years but they want Riverdale to move into modern times. A writer from Glee is contributing to the story. Glee cast members Sue, Puck, Brittany, Finn, Rachel and Kurt are featured on the collectible comic cover, which will be on the stands February 27th.

SAME SEX MARRIAGE? NO PROBLEM IN ARCHIE’S RIVERDALE

One Million Moms, the conservative group which already made fools of themselves boycotting JCPenny for hiring Ellen as spokesperson, has found another target. According to The Daily What, the group is calling for a boycott of Toys R Us because the chain stocks the Archie comic featuring a same sex marriage! These “moms” look more ridiculous every day!
