AMY ROBACH AND TJ HOLMES: CRIME OF THE CENTURY?

Why on earth are those people at ABC and Good Morning America making SUCH a fuss over the Amy Robach – TJ Holmes romance? At one time this situation would have been enjoyed as a ratings bonanza, with all the publicity the couple has gotten! (We had barely heard of them before this) Shame on their co-workers who have a “holier than thou” attitude, and are NOT defending them at all! Consenting adults Amy and TJ have been taken off the air for 2 weeks so far. The only one with common sense at ABC seems to be ABC News President Kim Godwin who said they “didn’t violate company policies” and was criticized because the relationship had not yet been “thoroughly investigated.” It’s MADNESS! Amy and TJ should get RAISES because ratings have never been better!

DID ARETHA FRANKLIN CONCEAL A MASSIVE CRUSH ON JAMES BROWN?

Leave it to The National Enquirer to have a different take on the death of Aretha Franklin. The tabloid insists that Aretha made a deathbed confession about a secret showbiz affair that she carried on for several decades. She wrote about this passionate affair with a well known public figure in her biography, but never revealed his name. She was heartbroken when he refused commitment. According to the Enquirer, the secret lover was James Brown! We love this old undated photo we found of both singers in their heyday looking really hot.

SUPER SECRETIVE KRISTEN STEWART IS MAKING PUBLIC APOLOGIES?

The story of Kristen Stewart’s affair with her “Snow White And The Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders is mind blowing in many ways. First of all, the evasive Kristen kept her romance with Twilight costar Rob Pattinson under wraps for YEARS and didn’t admit a THING. Apparently sparks flew for Kristen, 22, and her married with children director Rupert, 41, on the set of the movie right under his wife’s nose – Liberty Ross costarred as Kristen’s mother. Just how LONG their affair has been going on isn’t known. US Magazine just revealed photos of the pair making out in a car. They certainly looked chummy – and dressed alike- in the above photo above promoting the movie. Ironically when Kristen and costar Charlize Theron were interviewed in Paris, a reporter asked “What’s the best way to get a job in Hollywood?” Kristen remarked “We’re sitting on it!” What’s mind-boggling about this whole episode is the fact that Kristen is PUBLICLY apologizing to Rob for her indiscretion and that was quickly followed by Rupert PUBLICLY apologizing to his wronged wife! PUBLIC APOLOGIES for an affair! This is surely a FIRST in the world of celebrity journalism. (Although it sure beats LYING, doesn’t it, LeAnn?)

Some martial arts guy in England named Matt Fiddes claimed to The Sun that he worked security for Michael Jackson and revealed that Jackson had a two week fling with Whitney Houston back in 1991. Don’t believe a word of this. First of all we have our doubts about Michael’s sexual proclivities – his crushes on women were usually platonic. And this crackpot Fiddes is also claiming to be Blanket’s sperm donor. Nothing adds up. In 1991, Whitney was hot and heavy with Bobby Brown and married him a year later. And in 1991, Matt Fiddes was 12 years old! It turns out he only did a little security work for Michael when he visited England in the 2000’s. We rest our case.

Here’s a piece of advice for celebrities planning to have an affair: don’t do it in the vicinity of the National Enquirer offices! Dateline NBC’s Chris Hansen always acted surprised when he caught men red-handed in the act of arranging clandestine sex meetings on “To Catch a Predator.” How could they be so stupid? How could HE be so stupid? Married Chris cheated with Kristyn Caddell, a news anchor from West Palm Beach, Florida, who looks like a younger version of his wife Mary. Was he so infatuated that he thought no one would notice them socializing together? The National Enquirer’s main office – loaded with nosey reporters- is a stones throw away. Tipsters are all around. Even with slashed budgets this story was a snap to investigate and document.

John Edwards’ mistress Rielle Hunter has something in common with Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Kendra Wilkinson. Someone is trying to release HER sex tape without sharing the profits! Rielle’s lawyers are in court trying to get a cut of the profits from the sex tape she made with former Presidential candidate Edwards. Edwards’ former assistant Andrew Young, who wrote a tell-all book about his boss’s affair, “The Politician,” is eager to release the tape, but now the court has seized it and the trial is set for September.

MATT LAUER’S ACCUSED MISTRESS USED TO BE A MAN!

Nothing makes a cheating scandal more sensational than a female who used to be a man! Matt Lauer was accused by the Enquirer of cheating with a woman named Alexis Houston who claimed to be Whitney’s cousin. As it turns out, Page Six has revealed that Alexis is neither related to Whitney OR 100% female. In 1996 Whitney took legal action against a man who called himself Wellington Houston and used her famous name for fraudulent purposes. Since then he changed his sex and continues to claim he/she is Whitney’s cousin. How “Alexis” managed to insert himself into the Matt Lauer cheating accusations is unknown, but we’re sure he’s loving every minute of it. Alexis held a press conference with Gloria Allred (did SHE know?) to dramatically deny any affair with Lauer. We wonder if Matt sees the humor in all this.

It’s not easy being Sandra Bullock. Imagine – she was the toast of the town at the Oscars and a few weeks later she’s been crushed by marriage betrayal. Since In Touch revealed the story of Jesse James’ affair with tattoo model Michelle “Bombshell McGee,” Sandra has been out of sight and canceling appearances. If you’re wondering if the affair story is true, all you have to do is LOOK at the model – she’s Jesse’s type. He’s always preferred skanky women and Sandra is the exception. It’s ironic that the affair happened while Sandra was filming “Blind Side” in Atlanta. We feel awful for her, but don’t think she’ll dump Jesse. Sandra knew she was marrying a bad boy. She’ll think long and hard and make him suffer, but she doesn’t want a divorce. Like Fergie, she will take the high road and hold on to her marriage.
