BARBRA STREISAND: THE WAY SHE WAS

How cute is this vintage photo that Barbra Streisand posted on Instagram? We love the look on her face- she was filming On a Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970)in London and having the time of her life. The movie wasn’t a huge hit, and she was criticized for her thick New York accent, but eventually it grew to be appreciated…

THE MOVIE “KITCHEN” HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH FOOD

Just seeing this photo of Tiffany Haddish, Melissa McCarthy, and Elizabeth Moss in their 1970’s attire filming Kitchen in New York, got us interested in seeing the movie. It’s a comedy/drama about three Hell’s Kitchen mob wives who take over their husbands’ rackets when the mobsters are sent to prison. AND the film was written and directed by a woman – Andrea Berloff. We always have higher expectations for movies made by women – the characters seem more relatable.

AMAL CLOONEY AND CINDY CRAWFORD: WHO ARE YOU DRESSED UP AS?

The Casamigos Halloween party is the hottest ticket in Hollywood and this year the tequila company rented out the old Tower Records space for a 70’s disco themed event. Amal Clooney and Cindy Crawford look like they had fun putting together their gigantic hair looks – we don’t know if they’re supposed to be some 70’s celebrity or what. Apparently girls like to dress up more than guys – George Clooney and Kanye West both sent their wives but were MIA themselves.
