This show was rigged. In the final show Lucas was in the bottom three. When he was announced the winner, Tommy Lee stated “Lukas received the highest number of votes last night and they listened to the public.”
If that was the case then Dilana should have won as she was the ony one not in the bottom three meaning she had the most votes.

For all of you losers who doubted that Lukas would win……HA! This guy absolutely TORE IT UP in the first week covering Billy Idol’s Rebel Yell and has never looked back. He’s led the voting almost every week as well. I’ll admit that Toby was awesome as well, but Lukas had this entire contest in the bag the minute he showed up.
Now if we can just get Janet to leak to us the outcome of the pending lawsuit over the band’s use of the name Supernova and whether or not they will have to pick a new name.

I have a couple of things to say. First of all, the revelation was not LIVE so the past few weeks – heck maybe even MONTHS all our voting went unheard. My husband seems to think that all these shows were taped within a couple of weeks – meaning each ‘week’ was just the next day. And did you take a look at the audience? SAME PEOPLE EVERY WEEK HMMMMmmmmmm!!!
Oh and let’s comment about the commercial for the upcoming Survivor episodes that had Lukas’ song Headspin playing in the background BEFORE the winner was announced. I was so pissed because they were basically telling you who won before the ending of the show with that giveaway commercial!!
I won’t be watching another Rockstar and won’t be wasting anytime ‘voting’ seeing that it doesn’t even count.
I heard tell of this rumor, and was naive to believe that there was NO WAY this could be rigged. Flog me for being in denial. CBS screwed up when they showed the promo for survivor and mixed in Lukas’ original…I don’t like Lukas, I can’t understand him when he sings, and I won’t be buying any CDs or concert tickets. I think Toby or Ryan would have been better talent, but maybe the Stupidnova boys didn’t want their front man to be prettier than any of them. This whole thing totally sucks–they’re not going to make it big this time.
I wanted to also add that Ryan sucked big time towards the end. At least in the beginning the man SANG. For the past several weeks all he has done was SCREAM into the mic. Anyone can scream a song – bt not everyone can sing.
Like that Coldplay Clocks song. He butchered that! That song is a mellow song – not something to be jumping up and down and screaming/grunting like someone is ripping your insides out. I am sure Coldplay were cringing when they saw/heard that performance!!

Yeh – can we also talk about the comment that Jason said to Lukas with him winning from the “largest number of votes” – meanwhile he was in the bottom 3 and Dilana wasn’t. WTF is up with that? Unless he was talking about in TOTAL over the the duration of the show and tallies. I think they made the wrong choice, but evidently it’s the one they wanted for themselves. I felt the logical choice should have been Toby, because his voice “fit” the band, but obviously this was not SN’s decision. Jeers to CBS for airing the commercial with Lucas’s song, as that was the final giveaway.

The finale was so dissapointing, firstly they did not give magni a good reason for letting him go, and picked a small up himself ompa-lumpa to front the band. they obviously want to go down a very narrow path (seeing as they chose lucas who has such limited and a voice that you cannot listen to anymoe than 2 songs on) Anyone appart from lucas in the final 4 would have been a better choice. I will be saving my money for Ryan and Toby’s cds and not supernovas.

LOS ANGELES – The band from the reality TV show “Rock Star: Supernova” cannot call itself Supernova when it takes its act on the road, a judge has ruled.
A Southern California rock band that has called itself Supernova since 1991 and recorded three albums under the name sued CBS, the show’s participants and Mark Burnett Productions in June claiming unfair competition and trademark infringement.
“Rock Star: Supernova,” which began airing July 5, followed 15 contestants who aspired to become the lead singer of a new rock band that includes former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke and former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted.
United States District Court Judge John A. Houston issued a preliminary injunction Tuesday barring that band from performing, recording or selling music under the Supernova name pending the outcome of the lawsuit.
Attorney John Mizhir, Jr., who represents the original Supernova, characterized the judge’s order as “a major victory.”
“This is sweet justice,” he said in a statement. “The band members have worked hard for the past 17 years to establish the name Supernova and they are entitled to continue to perform without any other parties – large or small – infringing on their rights.”
Gary Hecker, an attorney representing Mark Burnett Productions, told The Associated Press that the order “is not going to affect the band or the tour.”
“The case hasn’t been decided on its merits,” he said. “Mark Burnett Productions hasn’t even begun the evidence collection process that it will be allowed to do.”
The next hearing on the matter is scheduled for Friday in San Diego.

What a disappointment! Lukas has always irritated me from the start.. Toby or Ryan would have had greater mass appeal if it had to be a bloke. Dilana is awesome but being female, I feel she never stood a chance. The fact that this decision may have been made weeks ago makes a mockery out of this whole show and the misguided public desire to see their favorite have a fair chance. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time voting…
well – it’s done and the winner has been chosen. Funny as when th eshow starte Lukas was my pick BECAUSE of his rough voice and look. Anyone down on the final decission should spend more time listening to what is big and selling NOW not years ago when the SN members were in other bands. Lukas not only fits where modern music is and is going but as a result gives the SN members a second chance to be THE big things again.
Don’t like Lukas – don’t but the CDs – no problem there, just don’t whine about it. I’ll buy their music just to take it in and see where they go with it….. and I grew up with the members other bands.. let’s all join the present k.
For those who doubt that Lucas could have the most votes: First of all, they did the bottom two tonight not the bottom three. They then named the singers that were in the bottom two “at some point” in the voting. That means Lucas could have been in the bottom two at the end of last night’s taping (and he was), but then accumulated enough votes to move up to number one. Second, Dilana could have held a steady number two all night while never getting enough votes to move up to number one. For example, during the early voting Toby could have the most votes with 100, Dilana could be second with 75, Lucas third with 50 and Magni last with 25. Then assume Lucas received another 125 votes, Dilana 75, Toby 50 and Magni 50. Lucas would then be first with 175, follwed by Dilana with 150, Toby with 150, and Magni with 75. These numbers are obviously very low, but a similar pattern could have occured in the voting last night. It’s not that complicated…and I’m glad Lucas won.

Right from the first episode I thought it would be between Lukas and Dilana – they both rock. Dilana shot herself in the foot with her antics… she may not have won but she wil go far. With regards to the comment that heavy metal people have no talent, why is this guy watching this series when he is so ignorant and has such a lack of understanding?
