We were saddened to hear of Shannon Doherty’s passing on Saturday, July 13. Throughout the decades, Shannon was the topic of many interesting anecdotes beginning with her time on 90210 (who can forget her antics as a young starlet hanging out at the nightclubs on the Sunset Strip back in the early 90’s?) While many of her costars have already issued statements, her ex-husband Ashley Hamilton is filled with regret that he never reached out to Shannon and buried the hatchet after their ill-fated 1993 marriage ended in divorce six months later. Shannon always blamed her tumultuous marriage for getting her fired from Beverly Hills, 90210. Ashley hasn’t spoken to Shannon in almost 30 years and he sobbed to a friend that it was a mistake.
