Janet Jackson was vacationing at the French >Riviera during the Cannes Film Festival (supposedly with her BROTHER Jermaine) until we saw this photo of her at the Nice airport before take-off. She seems to have ignored the film festivities. Dare we assume that she went off her diet to enjoy the French cuisine?

“Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman took his wife Beth and daughter Baby Lyssa out for lunch at The Ivy. Baby Lyssa’s not so little any more. Seems like only yesterday, Lyssa married her husband Bo and already she’s flaunting a major baby bump. This is a prolific and confusing family – Dog has at least fourteen biological children and several adopted ones. Did you know Dog is only 5’7″ tall? He seems much bigger.

Kelly Osbourne got her start appearing on her parents’ reality show and now she wants to PLAY a reality star – the late Jade Goody. Like many people in the UK, Kelly was captivated by the tragic story of the British reality star who passed away in March at the age of 27, leaving behind two young sons. Jade had gained notoriety on Big Brother and other reality shows and she shared her private life and health battle with the public. Kelly hopes to bring Jade’s story to the big screen – she wants to produce and star as Jade.

Mary Kay Letourneau, 47, and her husband Vili Fualaau, 25, (AKA DJ Headline) drew quite a curious crowd to the Seattle sports bar that held “Hot for Teacher” night. He played the music and she flitted from table to table. After all those years in jail for child molesting, Mary Kay got out and married her victim. The Fualaaus now have two kids and it’s amazing how their age difference has melted away. She looks much younger than her years, and he’s matured a lot.

Terminator Salvation beaten at the boxoffice by Night at the Museum 2, but Christian’s costar in this movie stole the show just like Heath Ledger did in The Dark Knight. Realistically, Australian actor Sam Worthington doesn’t match the charisma of Heath, but he did manage to stand out next to Christian in Terminator and he’s getting lots of attention. Christian’s characters often seem to be terse and angry, while his costars reveal more personality. Bale’s popularity took a dive after that tantrum tape appeared online. Having Sam Worthington steal his thunder doesn’t help.

Lourdes Ciccone Leon continues to express herself with fashion while being careful not to irritate her mother. Especially when they go to Kabbalah together. Lourdes slyly sported punk style holes in her striped tights – it’s not easy to rebel when your mother is Madonna. We wonder if Lourdes will ever get TIRED of going to Kabbalah.

Rihanna is trying to pull a fast one on the press with all these fake “romances” that seem to be set up by her own people. First, she was linked with an ex boyfriend in Barbados, Negus Sealy, and that didn’t pan out. The she ran into basketball player Andrew Bynum in a restaurant, introduced herself, and insisted on being photographed with him. Rumors of a romance were rampant until he admitted he was flattered, but barely knew her. Most recently she was linked to rapper Aubrey “Drake” Graham, and that rumor proved to be false too. Chris Brown’s lawyer is currently plea bargaining with the prosecutor and hoping to avoid jail time for Chris’s beating of Rihanna in February. Rihanna wants it to look like she’s moved on and started dating other guys, when actually she is secretly still in love with Chris. We predict they will be back together as soon as Chris’ case is finalized.

Here’s something we were surprised to learn about Lou Reed: When he was a teenager he was given what was described as “electroconvulsive therapy” in response to his homosexual behavior. Although the shock therapy affected his memory, he was able to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University. What’s more, he pursued women after that and was married twice- most recently, in 2008, to his longtime love, performance artist Laurie Anderson.

Tony Curtis, 82, was surprised and delighted to find himself at Harrod’s in London this week selling his Hollywood inspired artwork for up to $30,000 per item. He almost died in 2006 when he spent 7 weeks in the hospital with pneumonia. Since then he has been slowly recovering and regaining the use of his limbs, with the help of his much younger wife Jill. After that near-fatal hospitalization he stopped wearing the pompadour toupee that he has worn for years, and seems happy without it.
