Mitch has been her hairdresser for YEARS – even when she was married to Alec Baldwin (he did Alex’s hair too!) They always got along well and one day Mitch asked her out on a date. Surprise! Mariah Carey has traded her usual exaggerated cleavage at the neckline for TOE cleavage in this photo! In fact her toes seem crammed into those pointy toe heels and they’re probably screaming for mercy. This week it was hesitatingly revealed that Mariah was impossible to work with on two movie cameos she did. Both ended up being cut because she was so late and impossibly demanding. The exasperated stars of the movies leaked a little info and hinted at much more but held back. Jermaine Jackson, 63, is in London with his brothers Tito, Marlon, and Jackie getting ready to perform there on July 6. In the meantime the newly single singer is having some fun. Jermaine and his wife Halima Rashid divorced last year after she was arrested for domestic violence (she bit him on the leg.) Charges were dropped and Jermaine forgave her, but Halima decided they were better off apart. Jermaine was photographed arriving at his UK hotel with a female companion who did NOT want to be seen.

Johnny Depp arrived in Japan to promote his new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, but you’d never guess it by his attire. He’s in full-on rock n’ roll mode and appears far more interested in a career as a musician than an actor. Japanese fans don’t care which Johnny they get – they just want more of him.

EVERYONE seems to be in Monte Carlo this week. Helen Mirren, 71, just looks so darn pretty in this photo taken at the Monte Carlo TV festival that we had to publish it. Last month she was the commencement speaker at Tulane University in New Orleans, a city she LOVES. Among her remarks: “I have one question – why the hell are you graduating? You want to LEAVE this wonderful place and go find jobs? Makes no sense!” She jokingly advised students to “Tell the dean to keep your diplomas, and go back to the dorm!”

There is considerable speculation about how much money 50 Cent does or does NOT have (remember the recent “bankruptcy”?) One thing we DO know- he has enough cash to buy a suit that fits. This is not the first time we’ve seen the rapper stuffed into an outfit two sizes too small. Those bulging muscles look ready to pop the seams of his petite suit and we can only IMAGINE how uncomfortable it is. He DOES look good when he’s all dressed up, but it’s time someone told Fiddy what size he really IS, and maybe suggested a custom tailor.

Devastatingly handsome Zayn Malik knows how to make himself less conspicuous – he shaves off his hair! Malik has always enjoyed experimenting with cuts and colors ( he couldn’t do that when he was in One Direction) but we really miss that pompadour. It’s amazing how much less magnetic he looks without hair. (Maybe there’s something tucked under that cap.) Perhaps Warren Beatty was right when he said that 60% of a man’s appeal is his HAIR!

Who could be a better choice to lead the annual Mermaid Parade at Coney Island than Debbie Harry and Chris Stein from Blondie? The event was created by local artists to celebrate the official start of the summer season on the beach. Participants are urged to dress in hand-made costumes appropriate to the theme – the result is a lot of scantily clad women and wanna-be women with colorful beachy accessories. Debbie looks totally into the spirit of the parade – Chris, not so much

In 2002 John Corbett, now 56, and Bo Derek, now 60, were both single and a friend fixed them up on a date and they’ve been together ever since. Who would have guessed it would last this long! Bo says she feels no need to get married – they have no kids and they’re not young, so there’s no pressure. They’ve lived together for years, but give each other plenty of space and private time. Whenever we see them, they look really content with each other, despite their 14 inch height difference. The pair showed up at a TV festival in Monaco.
