ONE LOOK WAS ALL IT TOOK

Here’s the scoop on Bono’s visit to The Grove that we warned you about: Kanye West was minding his own business browsing in Nordstrom at the Grove Sunday with his fiancee and her child when he noticed the store was abuzz with excitement. People were making a mad dash for the second floor. A store executive noticed Kanye and explained that Bono was autographing t-shirts upstairs to raise money for his African charity. He invited Kanye to make an appearance to support the cause and Kanye agreed. But he took one look at the frenzied mob of people around Bono and stopped in his tracks. A witness said ” It was like a religious experience- people were in AWE of Bono like he was The Pope or something. They PRAISED him for making the world a better place!” Women were weeping and men were trying to touch Bono. Kanye and his group decided against infiltrating THAT crowd, and slipped away to shop elsewhere.

  1. Bono is a fucking moron who stinks. He wants others to waste their money but he won’t pony up his own to help. He’s a fucking limey bloke.

  2. It is amazing how people worship celebrities.
Don’t blame Kanye for wanting no part of that!

  3. WHERE’S THE PICTURE’S OF BONO!!!! he is the hottest rock star ever and i LOVE LOVE LOVE him!!!!!!!!!

  4. more like kanye didn’t want to be part of a scene where he couldn’t get all the attention.
and bono has given millions of his own money to the campaign to end world poverty.
while you bad-mouth those who actually try to do something with their lives, have you ever thought about what you’ve done with your own? —
even if it were true that bono hadn’t given a penny, he’d still be better than you, because he inspires others, where as you prefer to do nothing but drag them down.
ps: bono is irish. the english were called “limeys” (sic). get your ethnic slurs straight.

  5. K West wanted no part of a scenario where he isn’t the center of attention. His celebrity pales in the face of Bono.

  6. “Limey” does apply to the Irish. I should know, I am Irish and have heard it all me life.

  7. I admire Bono for his humanitarian work. As a rock star…no. Never could get into U2 music.
