Now that she’s pregnant, MAYBE Amy Adams will find time to marry her boyfriend of seven years, actor/artist Darren Le Gallo. They’ve been engaged for over a year and planned to marry in 2009, but Amy’s been so busy working on movies that she kept postponing the big event. Actually, Darren is the one who’s been pushing to tie the knot sooner rather than later. We’re guessing that “Julie & Julia” star Amy, 35, will prioritize the wedding now that she’s expecting.
Remember when you got married first and then got pregnant? I am so tired of all these “stars”, because unfortunately, teens and others say, “well, if they can, I can” and now we’ve got babies born out of wedlock. Used to call them bastards, but really it’s the parents, not the babies. Hey I know, get married first, then have a baby. Worked for alot of years.
bet on winners next time……….
The world in general is really really really really on the downslide. The above story being repeated everywhere sets this sentence in stone.
Yeah, whatever happened to getting married FIRST???? Whatever happened to women having MORALS?? I’m very glad I respect myself more than Amy Adams apparently respects herself and her family. Just because this sort of thing is the norm nowadays doesn’t make it right.
I’m assuming she purposely got pregnant but didn’t have time to purposely get married. I do not understand how someone now a days can get accidently pregnant? Too many birth control methods around for that to happen.
So she “can’t find time to get married?” People use that excuse all the time anymore. I hear it all the time. Rich and poor, celebrities and nobodies alike.
What’s the big friggin’ deal, anyway? People who go to extremes and plan huge, expensive affairs for 500 guests are usually the first ones to end up in divorce court.
Make simple arrangements and just do it. Besides, it’s the marriage that counts– Not the wedding.
I agree w/ Helena… these two can have a very nice, elegant wedding at a judge’s chambers
with just a few people present… then, when Adams finds “the time,” have a giant blow-out reception, or even another huge wedding and reception. I’m betting she WILL marry before the baby comes, though, because she was, I believe, raised in the Church of Latter Day Saints faith…
Yes, Amy was raised as a Mormon, but apparently she has not adhered to their super-strict rules. It matters not, however, as Mormonism is a false cult, believing that Jesus and Lucifer were brothers. This is just one of the bizarre things in the Mormon creed. BTW, seems like all the famous Mormons are turning from Mormon rules, such as Derek and Julianne Hough, who have both been shacking up.
If Amy wants to get married she should just go for it. Films come and go but your private life is more important.
