No matter how overdosed you might be on the subject of Michael Jackson – his private life does provide an interesting book. There’s always SOMETHING you didn’t know about his strange life. The latest expose is called “Untouchable: The Strange Life and Tragic Death of Michael Jackson” written by Randall Sullivan. We found his relationship with his family to be just as we suspected – he avoided them like the plague and they constantly tried to make money off him. In 2001, two tribute concerts celebrating Michael’s 30th anniversary in music were planned at Madison Square Garden. Each family member demanded $250,000 to attend, even for just sitting in the audience! When Jermaine learned that Michael’s take from the shows could reach 10 million, he pushed his parents to demand another $500,000 each. Even Michael’s friendships were costly – Marlon Brando chiseled money out of Michael by charging his “friend” a million dollars for a rambling “tribute video” for the event, which the crowd booed! People need to have a little respect. There was never any evidence against Michael, so to say that he was a pervert is baseless. Unless you consider his giant heterosexual/lesbian porn collection.
Evan Chandler came forward to say his son had been abused, though he was caught on tape saying if he didn’t get what he wanted, he’d destroy Michael, and he didn’t care how it affected his son. Jordan Chandler REFUSED to testify against Michael, even in the 2005 trial, and after Michael’s acquittal, Jordan’s father attacked him with a 12 lb. weight.
I think it speaks volumes that after the insurance company settled with the Chandlers, Jordan emancipated himself from his parents.
As for the Arvizos, one only needs to read the court transcripts to see the truth. Heck, the family originally accused Michael of abusing Gavin during a time that Michael wasn’t even home OR around Gavin, and when they realized they messed up, they changed the date to say Michael started abusing Gavin AFTER the Martin Bashir documentary aired. Let’s think about what kind of sense that makes for a second….oh, that’s right…NONE.

sandy rose, I too believe Mr. Jackson was innocent. It was a celebrity shakedown of the highest degree. Done for the almighty $$$.. Nothing more, nothing less.
All the people saying that Michael did this horrible, unforgivable sin should think about all of the times they may have been put in a compromising position with a child. Be it the babysitter, child’s friend, neibourgh, etc. Anyone can make an accusation and once these allegations are made, the accused is marked FOREVER.
More importantly, what parent in their right mind, would allow a child to have sleepovers with adults anyway. Thats where the true crime took place and the guilt is forever theirs to bear.
