“LITTLE MEN” GIVES BOYS A GOOD NAME
To be honest we get a little tired of seeing movies about BOYS, but this one is special in a lot of ways. Mid-summer is when many movie-goers grow weary of the abundance of mindless action and super-hero movies. So this film, full of tender feelings, is a delight. It’s much like real-life – sometimes happy or problematic, and sometimes sad. The friendship that develops between two awkward boys from opposite upbringings in New York is touching and sweet. Their parents problems are all too real. But life goes on. And this movie is well worth the price of admission.

Greg Kinnear, Talia Balsam, and Jennifer Ehle make for a great cast.
Talia Balsam is a beautiful woman. Why she ever got mixed up with Miss Clooney is beyond me.

Sounds like a Hollywood touchy feely movie that will bear no resemblance to real life in NYC. At $16 a ticket- good luck selling that one. If I want to understand parallel but unequal lives in NewYork I’ll step out into the street- for free!

Most people are fighting for survival. To spend money on a film is impossible …

I heard an interview with the director and it sounds like a really smart concept: http://www.cbc.ca/radio/q/ira-sachs-s-little-men-is-an-ode-to-romantic-boy-friendships-1.3693789 .
