Being engaged to one of the wealthiest men in the world has countless perks, but also a few drawbacks, according to Lauren Sanchez, the better half of billionaire Jeff Bezos. Despite her incredible wealth thanks to her relationship with Jeff, Lauren is still frugal when it comes to overpaying for anything. She complained to pals that since she’s become more famous thanks to Jeff, she can’t negotiate on ANYTHING. She recently wanted to surprise Jeff with a rare vintage watch for Christmas, but the dealer wouldn’t BUDGE on the price, so Lauren declined. Weeks later she had a friend inquire about the same watch and -lo and behold- the price was suddenly 20% lower. Lauren told a friend that just because she can now afford to buy anything her heart desires, it doesn’t mean she doesn’t still love a deal, so she now has a friend do her bidding.
