It’s been roughly 20 years since Katie Holmes modeled for The Gap but she’s about to reclaim her throne in a series of ads – thanks to her friendship with designer Zac Posen. Less than a year ago, Zac was tapped to revitalize the faltering mall brand – when Katie modeled for them in the early 1990’s the chain was in its heyday. Not only is Zac designing for the brand, but he’s also tweaking the marketing – and that’s where Katie comes in. She’s set to appear in magazine ads and is in talks to film a holiday TV commercial. That’s not all. Katie, who dipped her toe in the world of fashion design with her short lived label, Holmes and Yang, is also working on a collaboration with Gap which should be in stores next year.
