Julia Roberts posted this gorgeous Vogue photo to lament the cancellation of the Met Gala this year. Many celebrities and designers eagerly anticipate this yearly extravaganza (We even went a few times back in the 90’s before it became the big deal it is today.) Of course the ball was cancelled due to the pandemic, so a lot of people are melancholy and their beautiful dresses will just have to wait…

How American
Really? I feel just terrible that this bunch of superficial snobs have been put out this year. Just how will they get over it?
Get an education, Janet. Surely, even you must be embarrassed by this post.
And the elite wonder why we don’t care for their lectures, preaching and self-importance.
Are we supposed to feel sorry for her? Let’s touch into reality please.
Wonder if Julia, or any other over the top weatlhy celebrity, ever thought how many medical grade masks could be purchased for the cost of a dress she will wear one time for the real stars of our country – the medical professionals jeopardizing their lives. If I were Julia or any other celebrity, I think it would be best to tone it down. It smacks of “let them eat cake” mentality. Not a good look.
Lippp is correct. This 1% privilege is getting disgusting.
Big whoop. Seriously.
Maybe next year, Julia will wash and comb her lank, stringy hair, too.
Who cares?
This is the same woman who mocked and ridiculed her sister which helped drive the sister to suicide. Why does anyone still like this bullying witch. She’s toxic.
