Dr Jack Kevorkian has long been one of our heroes, and we’re delighted to see that HBO is making a TV movie of his life starring Al Pacino, frivolously titled “You don’t know Jack.” (We love Al, but we hope he doesn’t ham it up too much.) Dr Kevorkian’s courageous and logical support for the right to die for terminally ill people earned him 8 undeserved years in prison. A glaring injustice. Hopefully this prestigious TV movie directed by Barry Levinson and costarring Susan Sarandon and John Goodman will open a few eyes on this battle to legalize doctor assisted suicide. We’re grateful that 81 year old Jack Kevorkian is still around to see this movie happen.
Couldn’t they at least have TRIED to get someone who looked even remotely similar to the good Dr? How rediculous!!! I ain’t buyin it!!
………..GOSH, I really thought he was dead, folks!!
Here, here.
rock on Janet!
OMG, will he have a strong New Yawk accent? Is that really Pacino?
Kevorkian was a murderer. Get your facts straight. He helped a woman with no mortal medical condition (other than her humanity) with depression kill herself? How many wonderful and productive people would not be here if, in the depths of depression, they were killed rather than given the help they needed? Sometimes I am amazed by your stupidity.
