Nice to see Debra Messing getting lots of attention in this white fluffy outfit – and enjoying every minute of ! She is ecstatically promoting her new film The Alto Knights in which she plays the wife of notorious gangster Frank Costello (played by Robert De Niro)  back in  1950’s New York. Somehow De Niro plays both Costello AND his arch-rival Vito Genovese, who start out as best friends and end up in a power struggle to control the streets in this documentary style film. It’s a switch for Debra – she usually plays comedy roles. Barry Levinson is director and we love movies set in the 50’s, so we’ve gotta see this!
