TED DANSON WANTS TO GO BACK TO CHEERS

Inspired by the success of the Frasier reboot, Ted Danson is working to revisit Cheers and is trying to secure a deal on the same streaming service, Paramount +. Unlike the Frasier reboot, which stars mainly new characters, Ted is hoping to focus on the original cast in the original bar setting. The idea is coming together and even Ted’s podcast partner Woody Harrelson is interested in returning to the show that made him famous. That’s great, but Ted, how about the original writers?

WOODY HARRELSON’S NICE LIFE: HE LEFT MAUI TO VISIT THE AMALFI COAST

You don’t often get to see Woody Harrelson looking like a happy family man – maybe because he lives in Maui and there aren’t so many paparazzi. But this week he was visiting the Amalfi Coast in Italy with his wife Laura and his excited 12 year old daughter Makani. Laura was his personal assistant before they married in 2008. They have two other daughters – Deni, 25 and Zoe, 21, not along for the trip. He was Oscar nominated for “Three Billboards,” but Woody’s next film is Marvel’s Venom with Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams, coming in October.

Interesting note: Woody’s not looking at his phone – he’s carrying a deck of cards…

LIFE IS BEYOND HORRIBLE IN “OUT OF THE FURNACE”

This is a movie that only a man loaded with testosterone could sit through. Female characters in “Out of the Furnace” are inconsequential. The violence, negativity, and brutality, are enough to make one question the evolution of humanity. Don’t expect an ounce of humor or sensitivity, just one dismal gut-wrenching episode after another. We couldn’t help thinking “What are people in other countries going to think of Americans when they see this?” The writing, directing, and acting are skillful, but totally wasted on the nihilistic subject matter. The time we spent watching this movie was torture and we had to walk out early. We weren’t the only ones unable to sit through this – we found traumatized women in the bathroom. Of course, we expect this movie to be a big hit with juiced up teenage boys. (Above, Woody Harrelson plays the vilest character we’ve seen on film.)

OWEN WILSON AND WOODY HARRELSON ARE STILL INSEPARABLE

Owen Wilson is simplifying his life. He’s been seen frequenting the Mana health food store in Maui, stocking up on organic health food and vegetables. Owen has been staying at Woody Harrelson’s house in Maui and waiting for an opportunity to buy a home in the same community. Woody lives in an eco-friendly sustainable private neighborhood for rich hippies. Recently a house DID come up for sale and Owen is already in escrow.

TRANSSIBERIAN WILL SCARE THE PANTS OFF YOU

Finally, a movie that’s dramatic, terrifying, and frighteningly realistic. Realism is so much scarier than “monsters” or “evil spirits.” Transsiberian is every American’s nightmare when it comes to eastern European travel. Woody Harrelson and Emily Mortimer are friendly Americans who hook up with the wrong people and it gets them into unthinkable trouble. It’s like a Hitchcock film on steroids. We walked out of the theater deeply grateful to be living in the US. This is a hugely entertaining movie. See it right away!

WOODY HARRELSON IS DELIGHTED THAT OWEN WILSON AND KATE HUDSON ARE HISTORY

Owen Wilson’s romance with Kate Hudson finally seems to be over for good, and no one is happier that Owen’s best friend Woody Harrelson! According to an acquaintance, Woody and Kate NEVER got along, but they put their differences aside for Owen’s sale. (Actually it often happens that best buddies don’t like their pal’s significant others.) Woody is relieved that Kate is out of the picture- he never thought she was the right girl for Owen.

Buddies

In early 1997, best buddies Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes got into a scrap over the weekend at a North Hollywood bar. Both were putting down tequilas and got into a bit of a scrap over a sexy brunette who was with a bodybuilder. The woman found Wesley and Woody fascinating. Some words and blows were exchanged before bouncers were called…
