WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES! TOM ARNOLD’S SIGNIFICANT BEFORE AND AFTER IN HAWAII

Wow! He’s so skinny we didn’t even recognize the new Tom Arnold! He was photographed in Hawaii this week with his wife Ashley Groussman and the top photo show what Tom looked like last year – same place same time. Almost 90 pounds have disappeared in one year! “True Lies” costar Tom, 54, has been married four times (the first was famously to Roseanne Barr) and he’s never had any children until this year. With a little help, his son Jax was born in April and the baby inspired Tom to finally drop the weight.

ALL IN THE FAMILY: TOM ARNOLD HAS TWO REASONS TO CELEBRATE

Tom Arnold got lucky twice this month. First his wife Ashley Grousmann gave birth to their son Jax on April 6. Tom, who was famously married to Roseanne Barr, admits to fertility problems and he’s never been able to have children before. In vitro fertilization and a very cooperative wife made it all possible. Tom’s True Lies costar Arnold Schwarzenegger came over to congratulate his buddy. Tom’s second piece of luck happened when he landed a guest starring role as Vice President on Byron Allen’s sitcom The First Family, premiering on BET’s CENTRIC April 19. Tom insists his character will not resemble VP Joe Biden, but he hopes to become a regular on the series.

We would NEVER have guessed who this guy is if the photographer hadn’t recognized him. Hint: He was married to Drew Barrymore. (And she dumped him after she caught him cheating with an employee of hers.) It’s Tom Green and he’s starting to look like Tom Arnold or Paul Bunyan or SOMEBODY. Anyway, he still managed to find a cute girl to take to Crown Bar.

Multiple Personalities

2002: Tom Arnold was on a recent flight from LA to Miami with his wife Shelby and someone asked him about his new autobiographical book “How I Lost 5 pounds in 6 Years.” THAT got him started. Tom became very animated and stood up and did a 20 minute routine about what it was like to be married to Roseanne and her multiple personalities. The first class passengers and flight attendants roared with laughter but Shelby didn’t look pleased. Eventually she gave him a tug on the sleeve and pulled him back into his seat.
