There’s one group of people who might NOT be so thrilled that the strikes in Hollywood seem to be ending – those in charge of promoting Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir, The Woman In Me. Britney‘s tell-all tome is supposed to hit bookstands on October 24, but according to our insider, her publishers were NOT upset that the Hollywood strikes might have prevented her from doing publicity to promote the autobiography. Now that the strike seem to be ending, some connected to the project fear that Britney is in no mental condition to go on a grueling book tour. If she babbles incoherently, it’s going to be a hard sell to make any reader believe she wrote any of the book!

BRITNEY’S BOOK DUE FOR A REWRITE – THANKS TO DIVORCE

STOP THE PRESSES – literally! We’re not sure HOW she managed to put this together, but Britney Spears’ much hyped autobiography, The Woman in Me, was SET to be released October 24. Of course, her sudden split from estranged husband Sam Asghari has thrown a major monkey wrench into that plan. According to a publishing insider, Britney devotes more than a few pages of her tell-all to singing Sam’s praises and those chapters will have to be rewritten to reflect the current state of their marriage. Our insider who has SEEN the manuscript reveals that the lovey-dovey parts about Sam read like fiction now, so those chapters of the book are being updated -this might delay the announced October release date.
