Only on a “reality” show like “The Real Housewives of Orange County” would you see a woman like Gretchen Rossi hefting trash bags full of castoffs to be sold at her own garage sale. Certainly the event was lovingly filmed for the popular series. To make the sale seem even more unlikely, Gretchen’s boyfriend Slade Smiley (who was engaged to another O.C. housewife not long ago) helped out.
