SELENA GOMEZ ON TOP OF THE WORLD

Selena Gomez is back at work filming that movie we told you about – Only Murders in the Building – and she has never looked better! She has survived much more than a pandemic- Selena has had a LOT of health problems recently – besides treatment for anxiety and depression, she has dealt with Lupus and a kidney transplant. The only GOOD thing that happened was her split from Justin Bieber! We got a few more details about her movie – it seems Selena’s character lives in the same upscale NY building as Steve Martin and Martin Short, but they are only nodding acquaintances. Each of them returns home every day and devours true-crime shows like Dateline. One time they are all in the elevator with a 4th tenant who later turns up dead. They get together to solve the crime, but vow “Only Murders in the Building” – hence the title.

WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH SELENA GOMEZ?

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are taking another one of their breaks, and the press is blaming it on her mother’s interference. Apparently mom doesn’t think Justin is good for her daughter. It’s starting to look like Selena can’t live WITH Justin or WITHOUT him. Selena walked out of her Pilates class today looking like she’s almost given up. And she’s carrying a big fat BIBLE (specifically The Everyday Life Bible) Something is very wrong. Adding to the confusion, Justin says he wants her back. We hope she gets a grip on this…

Selena Gomez has attracted dozens of admiring ducks in Encino’s Balboa Park and she offered them a snack. We love her vintage Wrangler overalls. Having just returned after two weeks of treatment for anxiety and depression, the 25 year old singer looks happy. (She apparently has a hard time dealing with her Lupus AND her social life.) This past year has been a doozy for her – she split with The Weeknd, had a liver transplant, and reunited with Justin Bieber. All’s well that ends well…

BEST AND WORST DRESSED: AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS 2017

BEST DRESSED: Hands down, Selena Gomez was voted Best Dressed at the American Music Awards the minute she set foot on the red carpet. Not only is she dressed appropriately for the occasion – young, rock n roll, sexy, but not TOO sexy, with brand new blonde hair, but she didn’t look like she was trying TOO hard. And everyone was happy to see her looking as beautiful and healthy as ever after her liver transplant.
WORST DRESSED: We like Kelly Clarkson far too much to let her stylist get sway with THIS! Kelly is beloved for her natural, wholesome good looks- and this look at the AMA’s couldn’t be more artificial. (Talk about trying TOO hard!) That heavy makeup (black lipstick?) matronly too-fancy gown, and droopy extensions make her look like a cross between a 1980’s country singer and a Goth opera singer. That’s NOT our sweet Kelly. Did you know she has a ranch in Texas for unwanted (blind, crippled etc) animals? We rest our case.

Selena Gomez looks like a classic Hollywood movie star a la Ava Gardner in this photo taken at the Business of Fashion Gala in New York. Her sheer and delicate dress is a welcome relief from all those low cut gowns with long slits that you see everywhere. Selena, 25, has never looked better – maybe it has something to do with her 8 month relationship with The Weeknd. It appears she has finally put Justin Bieber behind her, and she’s moved into a better place…or is it called “growing up?”

THIS LUCKY PUP HAS A GREAT LIFE AHEAD OF HIM

Selena Gomez and her boyfriend The Weeknd spent some time this weekend playing with puppies at Citipups in New York. Apparently there was one puppy they couldn’t get out of their minds. Finally they broke down and Selena sent her assistant to pick up this Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and bring it home to Selena’s apartment. We wonder if they’re adopting together…

SELENA GOMEZ GIVES PARIS SOMETHING TO LOOK AT

They don’t make ‘em any cuter than Selena Gomez, but she never seems to be as happy as she SHOULD be. But she keeps busy. She arrived in Paris for Fashion Week yesterday and she’s already been trapped in an elevator and had a wardrobe malfunction. Paris journalists are delighted to see that Selena has been changing her clothes four times a day. Her love life should be amazing but she seems to be haunted by her past relationship with Justin Beieber.

Just as we predicted – only sooner than we expected – Selena Gomez has to drive past this giant Calvin Klein billboard of her exboyfriend Justin Bieber on Sunset, every time she goes to Chateau Marmont. Last night she went to the hotel restaurant with DJ Skillrex and probably saw this for the first time. Hopefully, she didn’t let it ruin her night.
