We love those flamboyant 80’s new wave bands, and particularly Spandau Ballet. It’s delicious to think that guys used to dress up in all that frippery. Spandau Ballet just posted the top photo as a New Year’s greeting to their current fans. The bottom photo is the band in all its new romantic glory. We’ve had a little crush on Martin Kemp ever since we saw him in “The Krays,” The group got back together in 2009 and have been performing ever since. Actually the guys have aged rather well – some better than others.

For some reason we never get tired of looking at Ricky Gervais back when he was a new wave pop star with an attitude. He was the heart throb lead singer in the duo Seona Dancing signed to London records. (CLICK HERE to see his video) The music business didn’t work out for him so he turned to comedy.
