WISSAM AL MANA HOPES TO KNOCK JANET JACKSON’S SOCKS OFF

What do you buy for the girl who has everything? Janet Jackson’s boyfriend Qatar businessman Wissam Al Mana happens to be a billionaire so he has a lot of options. Wissam decided to ultimate gift for Janet would be Neverland – or what’s left of it. He’s quietly attempting to purchase Michael Jackson’s legendary property near Santa Barbara because he knows Janet has sentimental feelings about it. Now THAT’S what we call a thoughtful gift.

MICHAEL JACKSON IS UNLOADING HIS PECULIAR COLLECTIONS

The people at Juliens Auctions have a massive job sorting through the contents of Neverland in preparation for the auction of Michael Jackson’s possessions on April 21. Michael just walked away from Neverland and left everything behind him. The stuff is warehoused in a huge space somewhere in Los Angeles. We were most amused to hear that Jackson had an enormous collection of Lladro type porcelain figurines of rosy-cheeked children and MOUNTAINS of photographs of babies and children – none of them his own. He also collected large full color ads used in stores to sell products for babies and kids. The catalog is in five volumes and it’s bound to be a collector’s item.

MICHAEL JACKSON WANTS YOU TO BUY A PIECE OF NEVERLAND

Antique shops in LA were treated to a visit from Michael Jackson this week. He “disguised” himself in this Zorro mask, scarf, and hat, along with an Indian silk shirt and bedroom slippers, to prowl some pricey stores. He knows he’ll have room for new purchases because he’s auctioning off thousands of items, including the contents of Neverland, along with stage wardrobe, cars etc. Julien’s Auctions is handling the event on April 21. Below is an interior shot of his Bentley stretch limo up for auction. The white glove he wore in the 1983 Billie Jean video is expected to bring in beaucoup bucks. jackocar.jpg

MICHAEL JACKSON IS NOT OFF THE HOOK YET

It was prematurely reported that Michael Jackson’s former home Neverland was saved at the last minute, and will not be auctioned off as planned. Actually, according to Fox’s Roger Friedman, Michael did NOT work out a deal with Fortress Investments – he only got a two month extension on the Neverland auction. That’s ALL that has changed. The auction is now scheduled to take place May 14. Why does he continue to live in such chaos?

MICHAEL JACKSON IS STILL TEETERING ON THE BRINK

Michael Jackson’s financial situation is getting worse every day and he’s not doing anything to fix it. According to Roger Friedman in his Fox 411 column, Jackson has 90 days to pay back a 23 million dollar loan or he will lose Neverland, which he used as collateral. Right now Michael is living in an expensive rental in Washington DC and Neverland is vacant. Last summer Michael tried to weasel out of contracts he signed by claiming he was under the influence of prescription drugs. We wonder if Mickey Fine Pharmacy in Beverly Hills, who also sued Michael, ever got THEIR money. Somehow we doubt it. Insiders are speculating that Michael might file bankruptcy in the next 90 days.
