Nancy Sinatra

THE AWARD FOR LONGEVITY GOES TO NANCY SINATRA SR

Frank Sinatra’s fourth wife Barbara died this week at the age of 90 and we got to thinking about what’s left of his family. Frank’s daughters Nancy Jr and Tina made no mention of Barbara’s passing because, according to Roger Friedman, they never got along. Tina and Nancy always hoped their father would re-marry their mother (his first wife Nancy) and grow old with her, but his marriage to Barbara dashed that dream. Frank’s last marriage did last for 22 years. Most surprising is the fact that Frank’s first wife Nancy is still alive and kicking and in March she celebrated her 100th birthday!

This will be a busy year for Nancy Sinatra– it’s the 100th anniversary of her father Frank’s birth and all sorts of tributes and celebrations are planned. Frank was born in 1915 and died in 1998. Tours of Frank’s house in Palm Springs are already going for $250.00. Nancy is the most famous of Frank’s offspring so everybody wants her for an honored guest. She appeared at the Peter Max studio in New York this week – he displayed 47 new paintings he’s done of Sinatra.
