Lara Flynn Boyle, 42, (“Twin Peaks” and “The Temp”) just might be a tad too fond of cosmetic procedures. She still has that great slender body but her face keeps changing. First the lips, and now her cheeks appear plumper although she hasn’t gained a pound. Lara seems to feel old before her time – when she was only 32 she lamented “There aren’t many roles for older women.” If she felt like an “older woman” at 32, how does she see herself now?
Lara Flynn Boyle is only 40 but she has certainly changed a lot since she filmed “Where The Day Takes You” with Dermot Mulroney in 1992. She played a teenage runaway in the movie, which was featured at an IFTA screening in Santa Monica. Dermot and Lara reunited after 18 years and while Dermot has a few grey hairs and lines, Lara has definitely changed the most. She still has that enviable slim figure, but her lips and cheeks seem to have puffed up.
The fact that the former star of The Practice, Lara Flynn Boyle, 40, has a new reality series on E! has a lot of people surprised in Hollywood. “Why HER?” they want to know. The premise of the show is supposedly Lara’s dual life – as a wife in Texas (married to a real estate developer) and as a Hollywood actress. (If she were still dating Jack Nicholson it would be a lot more understandable.) But, let’s face it, Lara’s REAL appeal is the fact that this pretty actress has weight issues (she’s been accused of anorexia) and plastic surgery galore. Her lips and face have changed radically and THIS makes her highly watchable.

This is what’s left of Lara Flynn Boyle. She’s looking awfully skinny but she always insists she’s happy that way. It’s interesting to note that no matter how much weight you lose, some things remain the same size – like enhanced lips.

We haven’t seen Lara Flynn Boyle recently and she turned up at the Carousel Ball looking good. Does anyone else think she’s starting to resemble screen legend Ava Gardner? Especially around the eyes. And that’s a big compliment. We still have a hard time adjusting to her new lips.
We just never get tired of looking at pictures of Lara Flynn Boyle. Partly because we remember what she USED to look like. We’re assuming that since marrying that guy in Texas she has been patronizing a plastic surgeon there. The enlarged lips were hard enough to take, now her chipmunk cheeks make her unrecognizable. That’s a lot of work for someone who’s only 38. She still has that slim body that Jack Nicholson used to like, though.
Another gem from 2002: Jack Nicholson wasn’t thrilled with his girlfriend Lara Flynn Boyle’s new and improved lips. Lara had her lips plumped with collagen and she’s so pleased with the new pouty look that she’s keeping them that way. Jack thought she looked perfectly fine before and gripes that “Her g—— lips feel like wax!” Too bad says Lara – she’s telling pals that if Jack doesn’t like her lips then he can kiss her a– instead! So there.
