JADEN SMITH IS GETTING DOWN WITH BAZ LUHRMANN

When we first saw this photo of Jaden Smith and director Baz Luhrmann entering BBC studios in London, we wondered ”What the heck are THEY doing together?” Then we remembered that Jaden is one of the stars of Luhrmann’s new Netflix series “The Get Down.” (First Woody Allen, and Now Baz “The Great Gatsby” Luhrmann directing for Netflix!) The Get Down SOUNDS like it could be amazing, but we’re still traumatized by our disappointment in “Vinyl.” It’s about the transformation of music in New York in the 1970’s – disco, punk, and most importantly, the evolution of hip hop in the Bronx. Plenty of bell bottoms, afros, great music, and dancing in the first 13 episodes debuting in August. Jaden plays a cool musician/graffiti artist with a huge afro. If it’s half as good as those old Soul Train reruns, we’ll be happy!

JADEN SMITH IS IN LOVE – AND NOT WITH HIMSELF!

Apparently no matter WHERE Jaden Smith and his model girlfriend go, it turns into a smoochfest. They were kissing and cuddling in the front row of shows at Fashion Week, and they’re up to the same tricks at Coachella. Jaden, 17, appears to be madly in love and can’t keep his hands off Sarah Snyder, 21. Sarah can drink legally, but it will be years before Jaden can join her. Sarah loves quirky fashion and encourages Jaden to experiment – even with skirts. Last year Sarah was arrested when she was accused of stealing a $16,000 Birkin bag from a consignment shop, but she eventually proved herself innocent. They’ve been together for almost a year now.

KENDALL, KYLIE, JADEN, AND WILLOW: TEENS LOOKING FOR TROUBLE

Underage Jaden Smith, 15, and his sister Willow, 13, partied with Kendall Jenner, 18 and her sister Kylie, 16, at Coachella just like they did last weekend. The group and their friends did a lot of dancing, but they were surrounded by booze and drugs and older people. Music festivals can get awfully wild and there’s a lot of room for stupidity for such young kids. Not a great idea. They’re starting way too early.

SCIENTOLOGY HAS PLANTED AN UNFORTUNATE SEED IN JADEN SMITH

Uh oh. It looks like fifteen year old Jaden Smith has been successfully brainwashed by Scientology. He thinks everyone would be better off if they drop OUT of school! He tweeted that society in general would be more intelligent if they AVOIDED education. Jaden and his sister Willow, 12, attended Scientology school and studied the principles of L Ron Hubbard until this year when the school closed. Now they’re being homeschooled, but he obviously has little respect for knowledge. Scientologists think general education IS a bad idea – they don’t want their members to be too smart, after all.

Kylie Jenner and Jaden Smith may APPEAR to be dating but that’s just what they wanted you to think. The both got lots of publicity when they were photographed together and they were all over the internet. (Kylie’s mom Kris Jenner was ecstatic.) In real life they are simply friends – nothing remotely romantic. They both lead kind of crazy fishbowl lives. Kylie, 15, sent Jaden a greeting on his 15th birthday (July 8.) She said nice things, but most important – “Happy Birthday to my best friend.”

Jaden Smith, 14, makes flying fun. He was seen zooming along on a luggage scooter at LAX with his older brother Trey trying to keep up. The Scooter is made by a Swiss company and costs around $250, with a weight limit of 220 pounds. It’s the fastest way to get to and from the gate with time to spare.

The confident pair, along with bodyguards, attempted to enter the Boujis club but alas! They were turned away at the door. Apparently fourteen year olds, no matter how conservatively dressed they are, simply aren’t allowed into bars in London.

Jaden Smith 14, in New York with his mother Jada, is filming a video for his song Hello. His singing sister Willow, 12, came along for the ride and got dressed up just in case she gets a cameo. Could be risky – she might steal his thunder. Jada kept an eye on the proceedings – Jaden rocked two tone hair and his perpetually wrinkled brow along with a fur lined hoodie, while Willow was clad in a Native American inspired knit coat with stand-up hair. Actually, it’s a good thing both kids can sing – with a Scientology education there’s not much else they’ll be prepared to do.
