Britney Spears made headlines for her social media posts claiming she was moving to Mexico this week. Here’s what we know. Britney IS moving because she’s not thrilled living in her Calabasas, California home. But not to Mexico. Brit claims her current home has too many bad memories since lived there while under a conservatorship. She has always loved Mexico- specifically Cabo San Lucas- and while she did head there shortly after posting her “moving to Mexico” remarks, my source says she’s actually moving to Beverly Hills. Most likely Mulholland Estates, the gated community with breathtaking views of Los Angeles where she recently checked out a few homes. As for her wacky social media post, my source says that it’s just Britney’s odd sense of humor.

One of the biggest stories of the week has nothing to do with Hollywood or famous people but nonetheless there is a celebrity twist. UnitedHealth’s CEO, Brian Thompson was gunned down on the streets of Manhattan on December 4 and there are many unanswered questions. While we don’t know anything about this tragedy, we DO know this… Jeff Bezos IMMEDIATELY beefed up his security hours after the attack. Many are speculating the killing was in retaliation for someone being denied an insurance claim and Jeff, who launched Amazon, feared he could easily be the target of a disgruntled Amazon customer or former employee. And he’s not the ONLY one beefing up security. We also heard Elon Musk just added more muscle to his security team.

A pregnant Gisele Bundchen made the news when photos of her and her baby daddy, Joaquim Valente frolicking on the beach in Costa Rica. We just heard that the couple did more than vacation during their visit – they also toured beachfront homes for sale. Since Gisele is the one with far more money, she wants to purchase a vacation home with Joaquim in the affordable Central American country, so they will have a place together. As of now, Joaquim is living at Gisele’s properties in Miami and Brazil (both multimillion dollar properties that the fitness instructor couldn’t afford on his salary.) Gisele feels it will be healthier for their relationship if they own a home together within his means, and gorgeous properties in Costa Rica can be bought for far,far less than most other places, which is why she’s looking to put some roots down there.

Speaking of real estate, Meghan Markle made headlines this week when she was photographed at an event in Beverly Hills without her husband, Prince Harry. As we previously reported there’s no trouble in paradise. But we do know this. During her time in the 90210 zip code, Meghan toured a few condominiums as she and her Prince are still looking for a place in the Los Angeles area. Again, another scoop we had first. Meghan and Harry are keeping their estate in Montecito but still want a place to hang their hats (or in this case crowns) in Hollywood. I hear that Meg was particularly fond of the residences at the Four Seasons Hotel and plans to tour them again, this time with Harry.

Beyoncé made the news when Billboard announced her and NOT Taylor Swift as “the biggest popstar of this century.” Here’s what we know. It was actually Taylor who suggested Beyoncé get the top honor. My source says that Taylor wants to take some time away from her career now that her Eras tour is wrapping up. She had a whirlwind 12 months from being named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year, winning practically every major music award and of course, her record-breaking movie of her tour. She’s hoping to lie low for the next year or two and concentrate on getting married and starting a family with Travis Kelce. She knew she was all but a shoo-in for the Billboard honor so she had her people reach out and tell them she preferred they put the spotlight on someone else, suggesting Beyoncé.

Donald Trump dominated headlines with his controversial cabinet picks while his vice-president JD Vance has hardly been seen or heard. Here’s what we know. Attention loving Trump has instructed Vance to stay in the background and to get his permission before granting any interviews. My source says Donald loves the attention his cabinet picks are generating and even though some of them might not get approved by the Senate, he doesn’t care as long as he’s the top story. He doesn’t want the more articulate and educated Vance to overshadow him, so until further notice, he’s to stay in the background.
