It has been a LONG time since Britney Spears was able to jump in her car and drive herself (alone) around her neighborhood. That’s apparent because while driving today, she decided she needed a bathroom break and she stopped at A GAS STATION. Not to buy gas, just to use the restroom. When is the last time you (or anyone) pulled into a gas station to use those extremely questionable facilities? Perhaps, NEVER? The obvious choice would be a Starbucks or maybe a supermarket – perhaps a restaurant. A horrific gas station bathroom would be a last, desperate choice. But a curious paparazzi quietly watched Britney quite happily bounce in and out of a gas station bathroom this afternoon! Just like old times…

She’s not afraid of wearing a little hardware- maybe that’s one of the reasons that Zendaya, 25, is so hot in the fashion world. (Being 5’10” helps too) Certainly the metal back of her dress couldn’t be very comfortable sitting down or outside on a cold night. But with the help of her brilliant stylist, Law Roach, she has become undisputed Queen of the Red Carpet. That, and the fact that she recently became the youngest recipient of the Fashion Icon award (given by the Council of Fashion Designers of America) means the she has to be READY every time she steps out of a car! This former Disney star (she can currently be seen in Dune and HBO’s Euphoria) has come a long way…

JUSSIE SMOLLETT: DOES ANYONE BELIEVE HIS HATE CRIME STORY?

Can’t help but wonder what actress Jurnee Smollett (Lovecraft County) is really thinking about her brother Jussie Smollett’s Chicago trial, which has finally begun. Does she pretend to be supportive of his claim that he was a hate crime victim? Former Empire star Jussie still insists that two men attacked him in Chicago yelling “This is MAGA country!” – they beat him up and hung a “lynching” rope around his neck. Coming from Chicago, we were horrified at these charges. Police investigated and not long after, two Nigerian brothers confessed that Jussie HIRED them to fake the attack to get attention from his Empire producers. At worst, Jussie can be convicted of 6 counts of filing false police reports. But will his career ever recover? We could live without ever seeing his smirking face again…

GABRIELLE UNION IS FIRE PERSONIFIED

Gabrielle Union knows how to dress for the occasion. She’s in London, on her way to the exclusive Chiltern Firehouse for dinner, and it’s an unusually chilly night. So naturally she tossed on a fire engine red ensemble and she looks adorable. She can also have a bit of a fiery disposition- remember when she appeared as a judge on the 14th season of America’s Got Talent and she couldn’t STAND Simon Cowell’s chain smoking in her presence. She complained, and her contract was NOT renewed for a second year. She spoke freely about the show’s “toxic” environment and is suing them for racism etc. So don’t blow smoke in HER face!

DYNASTY GUYS JUST MIGHT SPILL THE BEANS!

What better place to have a Dynasty “reunion” than Palm Springs? Many fans of the iconic 1980’s series have retired there! Jack Coleman (he played Steven Carrington), John James (Jeff Colby) and Gordon Thomson (Adam Carrington) are premiering their new stage show called Our Dynasty: Tales From The Set at Oscar’s in Palm Springs on December first. They plan to reminisce about the fan favorite storylines, behind the scenes gossip, and unexpected situations. For example: what happened when Elizabeth Taylor and Michael Jackson paid a surprise visit to the set, and why was George Peppard REALLY fired? Don’t expect a lot of dish about Joan Collins because she is still VERY much alive and listening! Hopefully the 3 actors will have a few drinks pre-show and loosen up…

Louis Vuitton and Off-White designer Virgil Abloh’s tragic death at 41 has probably affected Kanye West more than anyone else because he was the creative brain that inspired Kanye. Virgil was a genius who worked behind the scenes with Kanye on his biggest projects, but he never bragged about it. Kanye did all the bragging – calling HIMSELF the “greatest human artist of all time” and declaring that HE should have gotten the job at Louis Vuitton, NOT Virgil. Kanye and Virgil met in 2009 when they both interned at Fendi. Kanye couldn’t help but admire the brilliant and innovative Virgil, who had a degree in civil engineering AND a master’s degree in architecture. Kanye’s future projects might be QUITE different without Virgil’s magic touch…

Looks like Kanye West is vigorously attempting to create a “love triangle” with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her boy toy Pete Davidson. Since Kim and Pete started appearing in public together, Kanye has been loudly lamenting the fact that he wants his wife Kim back and regrets all the things he did wrong as a husband. We’re guessing Pete is feeling rather uncomfortable about this turn of events – but he should be privately laughing. Surely Kanye must be enjoying the absurdity of the whole situation of Kim and Pete dating – and he is pretending to be upset just to keep the delighted tabloids in an uproar…

HEIDI KLUM AND TOM KAULITZ ARE STARTING TO DRESS ALIKE

Heidi Klum and her rockstar husband Tom Kaulitz were barely recognizable in their rather drab and baggy (but comfortable!) clothing as they shopped for furniture in West Hollywood. They live in Heidi’s ten million dollar, 11,000 sq ft Bel Air mansion with her four kids, so they have a lot of rooms to fill. This particular store didn’t seem to have anything that turned them on…
