But we never expected Jessica Simpson’s stock to drop by HALF when John Mayer’s not around! That’s what happened when she made a deal to host an event at Pure nightclub Thursday in Las Vegas. Pure offered Jess and John $500,000 EACH if they’d cohost a special Pussycat Dolls show there. John said no thanks, and now Jessica is pocketing $250,000 to do the job alone. Quite a pay cut, but still well worth doing.

No kidding! Jessica was only moderately successful before the MTV “Newlyweds” show. She is a pouting, spoiled no-talent brat. The MTV show and the fact that she was pretty was the only reason she was famous at all. ALL of her movies have completely tanked, not just done so-so.
