MADONNA’S DAUGHTER IS TRYING WAY TOO HARD

That’s putting it mildly. Lourdes Leon is only 26 years old and nice looking, but she makes herself appear considerably older and hard edged. For starters, she doesn’t need all that HEAVY makeup- models in Paris are fresh-faced and natural these days. Lourdes looks like a female rapper who ‘s been around the block more than a few times. Her outfit is enough to scare the nice guys away and it hints at desperation. She wore this to the Mugler H&M Global Launch Event in New York and we saw dozens of photos of her. She wasn’t smiling in a single one of them…this girl needs a makeunder.

BRIGITTE NIELSEN: IT’S A LONG STORY

Against all odds, Brigitte Nielsen is living happily ever after. Back in the 80’s she was a hot commodity- she started out as a model and landed the leading role in Red Sonja with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 1985 they had a fling during filming and the next year she married Arnold’s rival (her Cobra costar) Sylvester Stallone. After a total of four husbands and four sons she confessed she had an alcohol problem and entered rehab. Fast forward to 2006 – she married cute (fifteen years younger) Italian waiter Mattia Dessi. She struggled with infertility until she miraculously became pregnant at 55, and gave birth to daughter Frida, now 4. Brigitte and Mattia are still married and living with Frida in Palm Springs.

ALYSSA MILANO IS RAISING A LITTLE FEMINIST

Alyssa Milano brought her 8 year old daughter Elizabella to the Hollywood Reporter Women’s Power Lunch in Cannes, to learn about women’s activism. You might remember that Tarana Burke founded #MeToo back in 2006, but the movement didn’t really take OFF until Alyssa posted an important message in 2017. Alyssa tweeted “If you’ve been sexually abused or assaulted, write “me too” as a reply to this tweet.” (She wanted to illustrate the magnitude of the problem) It WORKED – they got 12 million responses in 24 hours! That was around the time that Harvey Weinstein was being investigated, and fortunately, Hollywood has never been the same…

Jennifer Lopez took her vintage-loving daughter Emme (blue shorts) to the Hollywood flea market and there’s so much to look at that she attracted very little attention. (We have to point out that Jennifer’s choice of footwear for a flea market was far from ideal) Emme loves vintage rock n’ roll t-shirts and used jeans, and she actually looks happier rummaging at the flea market than she did shopping the designer stores like Gucci and Prada in Italy with her mom..

Some people are born lucky because they got the right parents. Supermodel Christy Turlington and actor Ed Burns are not likely to have an unattractive kid. To no one’s surprise, their 18 year old daughter Grace Burns has already appeared on a magazine cover (POP magazine) and has an exciting modeling career ahead of her, like a lot of supermodel daughters. Hopefully she will choose to finish her education before she hits Paris Fashion Week…

Daughter Gigi Hadid Hair! Khai Hadid Malik One Direction Recluse Zayn Malik

ZAYN MALIK: LETTING HIMSELF GO?

We happen to think Zayn Malik was drop-dead gorgeous when he was in One Direction– but since he unceremoniously quit, he hasn’t seen any of his former band members – or his barber either! He’s been living as a recluse on that Pennsylvania farm with his almost two year old daughter Khai since he and Gigi Hadid split in Oct 2021. Zayn and Gigi share custody. We used to see Gigi pushing Khai in her stroller around NYC, but she’s been invisible since the split. The parents must have a “no publicity for the baby” agreement so Khai is a recluse like her dad. Meanwhile, Zayn has been growing out his hair (from a shaved head) and he wears it in the style of a surfer (or a homeless person, depending on who’s looking) and now he’s selling sweatshirts and t-shirts to fans with his “art” on them called Paynt by Zayn. You can buy the hoody he’s wearing for $70.

SECOND GENERATION SUPERMODEL: GRACE BURNS

Christy Turlington’s daughter Grace Burns is now following in the footsteps of Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber as a cover girl. Remember, Christy and Cindy have been friends for years – they were both among the top Supermodels of the 90’s. (Both supermodels passed on their good looks to their lucky daughters.) Kaia, 20, started modeling at 14, when she appeared on the cover of UK’s Pop Magazine. She’s gone on to become a hugely successful model. Christy didn’t want her daughter Grace to model until she turned 18 – as soon as she did, she landed a Pop cover herself. The family was celebrating her first success in this photo.

HAYDEN PANETTIERE’S CYCLE OF SELF-DESTRUCTION

Back in 2015 when Hayden Panettiere sent her baby daughter Kaya (born December, 2014) to live with her fiancé, the baby’s father Wladimir Klitschko, in Ukraine, we felt very sorry for her. Hayden was suffering from severe postpartum depression and alcohol abuse, and felt she couldn’t care for the child. She visited her daughter occasionally, but made no move to bring her back to the US. Can you imagine? Since then, the Heroes and Nashville actress has not been acting – she took up with a loser boyfriend Brian Hickerson, and it’s been one domestic abuse situation after another. He punched her in the face on Valentine’s day and she got a restraining order. He got out of prison after a few months and she started seeing him again. Drinking and fighting. Another brawl at Sunset Marquis in March broke his probation and might send Brian back to jail. Her daughter and Klitshko’s family fled Ukraine when the war started. This adorable actress had everything going for her, and she lost her hot career and her child. What happened?

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO HAVE A GLAMOROUS MOM?

Surely Jennifer Lopez didn’t expect her daughter Emme (with Marc Anthony) to follow in her elegant footsteps. Mother and daughter went shopping at The Grove, and like many kids, Emme,13, is rebelling and establishing her own look. Oversize seems to be the motto for young hipsters today and Emme wants nothing to do with her mom’s fitted silhouettes. She’s perfectly happy – and in style- wearing the gigantic sweater tucked into her generous overalls. Emme has a mind of her own…

Daughter Kids Ricky Martin

RICKY MARTIN IS NOW THE FATHER OF FOUR

We didn’t realize how much Ricky Martin loves kids! We remember thinking “how nice” around 13 years ago when Ricky became the father of twins (Matteo and Valentino) via surrogate. He seemed to put his booming career on the back burner and spent most of his time raising the boys. In 2018 Ricky married his painter boyfriend Jwan Yosef and they’ve all been living together happily ever since. We did not realize that Ricky and Jwan quietly added two more kids to their family – three year old Lucia (above) and two year old Renn. Ricky calls Lucia “daddy’s little girl” and they celebrated both of their birthdays on December 24th.
