2003: Executives at Britney Spears' label Jive Records came up with a bright idea: How about pairing Brit up with the new wonderboy of rap 50 Cent to give her a funkier image! An offer was made to the hardcore crack dealer turned superstar who said he'd consider doing it for two million dollars. But word leaked out to Eminem, who's on the same label, and he immediately butted in and advised 50 Cent not to "sell out." He quickly convinced 50 Cent to decline the offer with Britney, promising that by rapping TOGETHER the guys will "print money." Eminem advised 50 Cent that he doesn't need quick collaborations that will damage his career.

In 2003 Britney had a "first" experience backstage at the Kid's Choice Awards that she talked about for months and months! Britney walked in backstage just a few feet behind Brad Pitt! Brit was with her bodyguard Big Rob and when she saw Brad she gasped and started patting her heart as if she felt faint. Her knees were wobbly and she repeated "Omigod! Omigod!" over and over. Finally the starstruck Brit mustered up her nerve "I'm gonna talk to him!" (Britney and Brad had NEVER met!) Shyly, Britney approached Brad and gushed about what a big fan she is. Brad was charming and thanked her. When she walked away, Brit was shaky and swooning on cloud nine!
Valentine's Day in 2003 Britney Spears got the Valentine gift that keeps on giving - PAIN. Brit treated herself and some galpals to piercings for Valentines day and her pierced nipple is taking it's time to heal. A braless Britney wandered into Urban Outiftters on Melrose and she tried on a number of outfits, giving salegirls a glimpse of her 20-gauge piercing. When she pulled a top over her head, Britney winced in pain. The piercing she was so proud of was still tender. The high price of beauty.

2005: As soon as Britney Spears found out that she's having a baby boy, she decided to name her unborn son, Kevin Spears Federline! Britney wanted to name the baby after her husband, Kevin Federline but insisted that Spears be the middle name. "Britney hasn't taken Kevin's last name, so she wanted their baby to have both names," her pal reveals. While it's a woman's prerogative to change her mind, Britney's pal says that she's so sold on the name she's already had KSF monogrammed on baby blankets etc.
