Owen Wilson is simplifying his life. He's been seen frequenting the Mana health food store in Maui, stocking up on organic health food and vegetables. Owen has been staying at Woody Harrelson's house in Maui and waiting for an opportunity to buy a home in the same community. Woody lives in an eco-friendly sustainable private neighborhood for rich hippies. Recently a house DID come up for sale and Owen is already in escrow.
Finally, a movie that's dramatic, terrifying, and frighteningly realistic. Realism is so much scarier than "monsters" or "evil spirits." Transsiberian is every American's nightmare when it comes to eastern European travel. Woody Harrelson and Emily Mortimer are friendly Americans who hook up with the wrong people and it gets them into unthinkable trouble. It's like a Hitchcock film on steroids. We walked out of the theater deeply grateful to be living in the US. This is a hugely entertaining movie. See it right away!
Owen Wilson's romance with Kate Hudson finally seems to be over for good, and no one is happier that Owen's best friend Woody Harrelson! According to an acquaintance, Woody and Kate NEVER got along, but they put their differences aside for Owen's sale. (Actually it often happens that best buddies don't like their pal's significant others.) Woody is relieved that Kate is out of the picture- he never thought she was the right girl for Owen.
