Woody Allen and Soon-Yi are staying at the Beverly Wilshire hotel so they decided to walk over to Mr Chow for dinner. Maybe they forgot the place is a paparazzi magnet. It's interesting how confident Soon-Yi seems in her marriage- she never makes much of an effort to look particularly stylish or wear make up. Woody can fuss over his favorite leading lady Scarlett Johansson all he wants, and Soon-Yi never bats and eye.
Woody Allen was hugely disappointed when his muse Scarlett Johansson failed to show up for the sensational premier of his new movie "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" at the Cannes film festival. Scarlett's costars Penelope Cruz and Rebecca Hall DID show up for the event and they were thrilled when the movie got a ten minute standing ovation. Scarlett's reps had made some unfortunate demands that Warner Bros wouldn't agree to. On top of all the other first class arrangements, Scarlett wanted to bring a ten thousand dollar a DAY personal makeup artist, and she didn't want to stay in the convenient Cannes hotel with the rest of the cast. She wanted a private hotel thirty miles away that would have jeopardized their tight schedule. She did promise to make it up to Woody by promoting the movie in the US.

Here we go again. Larry David and Evan Rachel Wood are filming Woody Allen's latest untitled movie and it looks like he's introducing her to the joy of knishes. This photo reminds us of Woody's1979 movie Manhattan. In that movie, pretty teenage Mariel Hemingway fell in love with much older man Woody Allen. It was pretty unbelievable, but a typical Woody fantasy. Woody thinks he's too old to star in his films now - who could be better at playing a Woody inspired character than Larry David? We wonder what Marilyn Manson thinks when his girlfriend Evan has to ditch the black hair dye and pale makeup and look natural.
