According to The Globe, Boston Legal star William Shatner will not be happy to learn that his deceased wife Nerine's brother is writing a tell-all book about his sister's mysterious death in 1999, and he's calling Shatner a liar. William Shatner's wife Nerine was an alcoholic who was in and out of rehab, and her AA sponsor had warned Bill never to leave her alone. Shatner left her with a housekeeper one day and returned to find her on the bottom of their pool. He called 911 instead of diving in to pull her out. The brother claims that Shatner didn't jump in the pool because he was wearing a new $25,000 toupee and didn't want to ruin it! The former brother.-in-law insists "The normal reaction is to pull the person out of the pool and start CPR." He's got a point there.

Marc Anthony is the picture of chivalry here and we bet Jennifer Lopez has him jumping through hoops now that she's pregnant. She CAN be very demanding. Recently we encountered a sound technician who was working on a Price Line commercial with William Shatner. He told us that Shatner was a delight to work with - he arrived on time, dressed and camera ready, and he knew all his lines. We asked the technician who was the WORST celebrity he worked with and he said "Hands down - Jennifer Lopez." He said he worked on a music video with Jen and "She kept hundreds of people waiting around for hours on end." He recalled that she stayed in her trailer and claimed she wasn't feeling well and sent for five different kinds of doctors and therapists help her voice, massage her feet and hands etc. By the time she unapologetically appeared to work, her coworkers were DRAINED and freezing cold from standing around so long. We're thinking that being pregnant with twins just might make Jennifer a tad difficult to live with.
Boston Legal star William Shatner still goes to concerts. He took his wife Elizabeth to see James Taylor at the Troubadour in West Hollywood. Plenty of people predicted Shatner's career was OVER after Star Trek, but he proved all of them wrong. Still, we're not crazy about the man-purse.
