Ray J hasn't been in the news for awhile and he decided to drum up some publicity by inviting Whitney Houston to party with him at Villa. The last time Ray made PR waves was in May when TMZ revealed he was kicked out of the Hyatt Regency hotel in DC for rowdiness and having a stash of drugs. Ray blamed it on his entourage and move into a Holiday Inn. No arrest. Ray's mother Sonja Norwood is suing Kim Kardashian (Ray J's sex video partner,) claiming that Kim and her sisters charged over a hundred thousand dollars to Sonja's credit card. Sounds fishy, somehow, doesn't it? Ironically, this picture seems to show Ray eyeing an attractive girl while Whitney is clutching his waist.

Jeremy Piven enjoys his powerful role as the ruthless agent Ari Gold on Entourage, and he's not above putting his own two cents into casting the show. On a recent weekend, Jeremy rode the Planet Hollywood private jet from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, and he sat next to Whitney Houston. They started chatting about Entourage and Jeremy suggested that it would be fun to have Whitney make an appearance on the popular show. Whitney liked the idea. Jeremy was overheard calling a producer and telling him about Whitney as soon as the plane touched down in LA.

It was inevitable. Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina just turned 15 and according to the Enquirer she is already "running around and drinking and partying" in Atlanta. Bobbi has been living with Whitney's brother Gary and his wife. When Whitney came to Atlanta and confronted her wayward daughter, they had a terrible argument and Bobbi slit her wrists with a razor. She was immediately carted off to the psychiatric ward for a three day stay. Whitney and Bobbi seemed to be getting along better when they both went to Las Vegas with Ray J on April 18, but we're betting this isn't the last of their mother daughter problems.

This is the photo that started all the rumors that Whitney Houston might be pregnant! She's more voluptuous than before and has a little tummy. According to those in the know, she is NOT expecting. One friend suspects that she recently had her implants made larger. Another says she just tends to get a bit bloated sometimes. So don't start a "baby bump" watch just yet.

Bobby Brown might be envious when he hears that his ex Whitney Houston is negotiating to sing at a one night charity event in London for almost three million dollars. Billionaire philanthropist John Cauldwell is taking a chance by hiring Whitney to entertain at his children's fundraiser in May. Whitney hasn't done much performing in the past few years since she divorced Bobby and gave up drugs. Whitney's dressing room requests for the posh event are NOT elaborate (in other words she's no J-Lo.) Among her modest needs were M&M's, camomile tea, bagels with cream cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, donuts for her entourage, and, oddly, bottles of AMERICAN water!

Granted, Whitney Houston DID celebrate her 44th birthday with her exhusband Bobby Brown at Joe's Crab Shack in Alpharetta, Georgia, where you can get a bucket of shrimp for $7.99, just like TMZ.com revealed. But despite the looks on their faces, they are NOT getting back together. (They have a daughter in common, remember?) Last we heard Bobby is still living with his girlfriend, Alicia Etheridge, who is now his manager. And Whitney's off-again on-again thing with Ray J heated up when he sent her diamond earrings for her birthday - a generous four karat stud for each ear (4 + 4 =44!)

Whitney Houston's on and off relationship with Ray J is on for now. Around a month ago when Ray's sex video was all over the web, Whitney started getting calls from friends expressing their disapproval. Whitney knew about the video but didn't realize how many OTHER people knew. Even Dionne Warwick called Whitney to express her disgust. Whitney, already entangled in divorce details, decided to break it off with Ray and sent him packing. Gradually they started talking on the phone again and that led to a reunion last night. They met for dinner at their favorite spot, Crustacean in Beverly Hills, and spent three hours over a romantic meal. (Why does Whitney dress better when she's with Clive Davis? These hats are annoying.) Afterward, they met up in a gas station and Whitney jumped in Ray's car and her bodyguard took her car home. Whitney wants a break from recording, so she and Ray are talking about taking an island vacation together.

Whitney Houston is having problems finishing her new album - which was supposed to come out in June. She and her producer Clive Davis are clashing- he wants one thing and she wants another. Whitney wants to stick to her successful old formula and use her own people on the album while Clive has new ideas. He wants NEW people like Christina Aguilera to collaborate with Whitney. Whitney seems to think she doesn't NEED any new people while Clive insists they change with the times. Whitney's pal Ray J has a song he recorded with Whitney that he's dying to release on his album, but Clive's label, Jive, isn't cooperating. Whitney's a handful, but Clive knows she's worth it.

For some reason we feel compelled to keep you informed about Whitney Houston's every appearance in public. Over the weekend she and Ray J had dinner at Lawry's The Prime Rib on La Cienega (just writing that name is making our mouths water.) The crowd at Lawry's is mature and fans were thrilled to see Whitney and Ray enjoying their lobster and prime rib combo dinners. They had an expensive bottle of wine on the table but we don't know if Whitney drank any. One after another, people approached Whitney and wished her well - some said they prayed for her recovery. Whitney asked if they were "people of God" and if they were, she shook their hands. Hmmm. She didn't forget to take home a doggy bag of leftovers. We wonder how Ray J kept a straight face when he saw that goofy hat off her head.

We're happy to hear that Whitney Houston spent most of the day yesterday SHOPPING in Beverly hills and the higher priced end of Melrose. She drove in from her home in Orange County to hunt for new outfits to wear for a photo shoot for her new album. Instead of sending a stylist, she wanted to see what was out there herself. This is a very healthy sign - we haven't heard stories about Whitney shopping for a long time - her life IS getting back to normal. After many purchases, Whitney had arranged to meet Ray J for dinner at his family's favorite restaurant Crustacean.They shared a private room upstairs and feasted on garlic noodles. Ray will be spending a lot of time in the studio with Whitney giving her creative guidance now that she's putting the finishing touches on her album.

When Ray J showed up at a Hollywood club holding hands with Lil' Kim on Saturday night everybody wondered- What happened to Whitney Houston? Just a few weeks ago, Ray and Whitney seemed to be having a great time in Las Vegas. Ray's friends say it's not over with Whitney. She simply tries to avoid clubs while she's in recovery. Lil' Kim is a longtime friend of Ray - a few years back they had a hit song together "Wait a Minute." (see photo) Right now they're planning to remake an updated version of the same hit. So that's what they're talking about. Ray's friends insist Whitney is STILL very much in the picture.

Looks like Whitney Houston is starting to have FUN again - without getting too carried away. She and Ray J spent the weekend in Las Vegas at Caesars Palace. They had a packed schedule. On Saturday afternoon they were supposed to go to the All Star basketball game but they skipped it to spend romantic private time in their suite! On Saturday night they caused considerable excitement when they turned up at Jay Z's party at Tao. Whitney was startled by the furor she caused. The crowd got so carried away at the sight of the pair that security guards were assigned to surround their table. Even Beyonce had a hard time getting through to say hello. Ray J's sex video partner Kim Kardashian showed up on the red carpet and posed for photos. But when reporters told her Ray J and Whitney were inside, she gulped and changed her mind about going into the party. We wonder why. Hmmm.

It's not over between Whitney Houston and her young boyfriend Ray J. His x-rated video with Kim Kardashian was just a bump in the road and the couple is back on track. Friends say the romance is definitely on and they continue to spend a lot of time together. Whitney's recent meal with her ex Bobby Brown was strictly business. Everyone feels Ray is a good influence in helping Whitney stay sober. Ray is also helping Whitney with her comeback album and they recorded a song together "It'll Be OK" for a project of HIS. Since they were mobbed by photographers recently when they dined at Madeo's, they're only going to out of the way places or staying at home together. Whitney's not in the mood for big public scenes yet.

We know of at least one person who's NOT happy about the release of Kim Kardashian and Ray J's sex video: Whitney Houston. It's funny, because Whitney could be pretty raunchy before she got sober, but she was outraged when the video was released. She's been dating Brandy's brother Ray J for months and became very close to his family. They were even living together. He was supportive in keeping her sober and they were working on music for her when the video reared it's ugly head. Whitney was beyond disgusted and packed up her stuff and waved goodbye to x-rated Ray J, and returned to her mentor Clive Davis once again.

Whitney Houston is in LOVE! She has flipped for a way YOUNGER man - Brandy's brother, actor/singer Ray J, who's only 26, and they are living together. He has a hit song "My Wish" from his album "Raydiation." Whitney,43, met Ray a week after Thanksgiving and they've been together ever since. She spent the holidays with Brandy Norwood and her family and Brandy's mom formed a special friendship with Whitney. The family is a good influence - Whitney is 100% sober. Since they started seeing each other Ray has spiffed up his look- he stopped wearing baggy hip hop clothes and started dressing in tailored suits "like a businessman. He looks OLDER! Whitney spends all her time at Ray's house or Brandy's in Calabasas (the family has kind of adopted her.) Ray and Whitney are very cuddly and affectionate - they don't go out in public much - sometimes they drive up to Santa Barbara and stay at the Bacara spa there. Ray is very excited about helping Whitney with her new comeback album. She's paying more attention to Ray than she is Clive Davis and Clive is losing his influence. Whitney is described as a "whole new person." She's happy and optimistic. Keep in mind that people struggling with sobriety are advised NOT to jump into new relationships for at least a year so this might be risky for vulnerable Whitney. But the Norwoods are helping her through hard times. THIS JUST IN: An eyewitness says that Whitney appeared to be drinking what looked like liquor in the restaurant. We'll keep an eye on this.

While Whitney Houston's star is on the rise again, Bobby Brown's stock is falling. His Bravo reality series Being Bobby Brown has officially been cancelled. The Bravo people just didn't find the show all that fascinating without Whitney. Bobby tried to convince them to pair him up with Mike Tyson, but it didn't work out. For better or for worse, Bobby is still keeping company with video vixen Karrine Steffans, the so-called gold digger who wrote the book about sex with celebrities. Insiders suspect that Karrine is hanging around because she hopes Bobby will get a load of money from his divorce, but she insists she's writing another book about her experiences with him.

When Whitney Houston filed for divorce it looked like the end of the Being Bobby Brown reality series. (Which was hard NOT to watch) But Bobby and his producers were determined to keep it alive and they found a replacement for Whitney. It's MIKE TYSON! Mike and Bobby are palling around in Las Vegas right now filming footage for the show. Mike is working on some kind of boxing exhibition and his colorful private life may even be more entertaining than Whitney's was, anyway. Bobby needs the TV money to pay child support for several kids so he's motivated to make the show work with his new costar.

Whitney Houston IS declaring her independence from Bobby Brown. She's no longer leaving the driving to HIM. On Friday she was seen at the DMV in Hollywood where she apparently renewed her driver's license. She looked focused and must have passed her test because she had her picture taken before she left.
