Judging by this photo of Queen Latifah leaving the Crustacean restaurant in Beverly Hills, Jenny Craig might be in for a fright. Latifah looks like she fell off her diet in a big way - of course it might just be the awkward angle of the camera. Let's hope so. Poor Jenny doesn't need another Kirstie Alley. Keep in mind that when Latifah signed up with Jenny Craig, she KNEW her weight would be watched!

Kristen Johnston is always funny, but with this 60 pound weight loss, she looks YEARS younger! Even younger than she did on "3rd Rock from the Sun. This photo was taken as she left a New York supermarket - not much in that bag!

Tori Spelling had just struggled to lose all her baby weight when she got pregnant with her second child. The first time around Tori ate everything in sight- and plenty of it. Deep dish pizza, burritos, cupcakes, etc. She packed on 40 pounds and for the FIRST time in her life, she had to really work out and diet to take it off. It was no fun, so she vowed she won't do it this time around. She's determined not to gain more than 30 pounds - preferably less than 25. Tori's concentrating on nutritional foods and telling Dean and her friends "Don't tempt me!"
Plus size model Whitney Thomson was anointed by Tyra Banks as America's Next Top Model just last night, and already we have a model photo of them together looking suspiciously svelte. (Whitney bears an uncanny resemblance to Anna Nicole Smith) There has been a lot of speculation that Whitney was Tyra's special choice because it puts Tyra squarely on the "models don't have to be stick thin" bandwagon, so popular now. Popular, but unrealistic. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen if Whitney will get modeling work that involves her body.

Is Nicky Hilton starving for attention or for food? Dropping a lot of weight is a sure way to get photographers hot on your trail if you're a celebrity. Photos of famous girls with real or supposed "eating disorders" are top sellers. Nicole Richie was plastered on every magazine cover when she was at her thinnest, and boney Kate Bosworth became a hot photo commodity also. Nicky was pretty much overlooked until she recently started paring off the pounds.

Life is good for Valerie Bertinelli. She has a new book, "Losing It," and a new talk show coming up. And she doesn't hesitate to discuss her exhusband Eddie Van Halen. Valerie talked to Ladies Home Journal about Eddie's "denial:" "The guy has mouth cancer, gets part of his tongue cut out, and he insists cigarettes have nothing to do with it. You should have seen the guy he attributes his "cure" to. They sat around drinking and smoking in our hotel room. But the cancer hasn't come back, so who am I to say!" Life isn't so hot for Eddie - he recently left his band tour and went back to rehab for alcohol abuse.

After his first visit, he managed to pare off a few pounds and he claimed he was more weight conscious since he did his documentary on the health care system. What happened?

Remember, last October we informed you that Brandon Davis's plus-size brother Jason had gastric bypass surgery. The pounds are starting to miraculously melt away - much like Star Jones. Only as far as we know, HE doesn't lie about it.

It's not often that American tourists vacation in Hawaii dressed all in black, but that's John Travolta's choice of apparel. Guess he thought it would be slimming. It looks like he's retained some of his Edna Turnblad figure from Hairspray. Actually we think a loose Hawaiian shirt would have been more flattering, since this black outfit appears to be straining at the seams. Right before this photo was taken, Travolta reportedly devoured Mexican food with french fries and mayonnaise on the side.
