Tori Spelling's book "Stori Telling" is a fun read and it reveals a lot of personal things about her mother Candy that may or may not have been remembered with total accuracy. Anyway, Candy was indignant about the book for a long time and she and Tori only made up after Tori's first child Liam was born. However, it seems Candy is not exactly a doting grandma. At the Juicy >Couture opening party in New York, someone asked Candy how Tori's new baby daughter is doing and Candy couldn't remember the baby's name! She blamed it on the champagne. (Her name is Stella and she's doing fine.)

Tori spelling went shopping at Whole Foods the hard way - with her husband Dean McDermott, three kids, and two dogs in tow. The older boy is Jack, Dean's son from his last marriage. Tori's kids are Liam, 1/12, and Stella ,6 months. Little Liam is walking and we think he looks like Tori's family - especially her brother Randy. You can see more of them on "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood" on Oxygen.

Tori Spelling had just struggled to lose all her baby weight when she got pregnant with her second child. The first time around Tori ate everything in sight- and plenty of it. Deep dish pizza, burritos, cupcakes, etc. She packed on 40 pounds and for the FIRST time in her life, she had to really work out and diet to take it off. It was no fun, so she vowed she won't do it this time around. She's determined not to gain more than 30 pounds - preferably less than 25. Tori's concentrating on nutritional foods and telling Dean and her friends "Don't tempt me!"

There's been an INORDINATE amount of talk about who's being brought back from the original cast in the CW's updated version of Beverly Hills, 90210. Jenny Garth, Ian Ziering, and Tori Spelling have all agreed to come back but the big fat question remains: What about the most identifiable and memorable actor on the show? Shannen "Brenda" Doherty, of course! Her bad-girl exploits (tame compared to the bad girls of today) contributed enormously to making the high school drama a hit. But as Tori Spelling wrote in her book, the rest of the cast grew intolerant of Shannen's lateness and attitude, and they pushed Aaron Spelling to fire her. Her departure was pretty much the kiss of death for the series. Shannen WOULD get a lot of people tuning in to the new 90210, but her name never comes up! How come?

Looks like Tori Spelling is working hard to put her Beverly Hills 90210 image behind her. Remember, Tori and Shannen Doherty were the spoiled bad girls of the 90's. Booze, after hours parties laden with drugs, and plenty of inappropriate boyfriends kept these girls busy. Cigarettes and anorexia were the order of the day. Now Tori looks more like a suburban housewife. (which she is on her reality series Tori & Dean: Inn Love, filmed in Fallbrook, California.) Instead of being driven home from a club with her head hanging out the window, Tori is loading a stroller into a sensible family vehicle. We wonder if Lindsay and Britney will be living this life in a few years.
We learned a few more things about the Tori Spelling estate sale that might interest fans. First of all, we had serious doubts that Tori really lived in that pack rats paradise in the valley. It's hard to imagine Aaron Spelling's daughter accumulating so much junk but she DID. This is the house she shared with her last husband Charlie Shanian. But don't blame the decor on HIM - Tori takes credit for all the clutter. That marriage was doomed from the get-go. If you missed the sale - prices were high - a funky pillow went for $75 and photos of Tori for hundreds of dollars. At the end of the day, no one had made an offer for Tori's used toothbrush. Oops! We almost forgot to tell you that Tori and her new husband Dean are planning to open a bed and breakfast somewhere in Los Angeles. We'll keep you posted.
We just KNOW you're going to want to drop everything and dash to Tori Spelling's "Dazzling Hollywood Estate Sale " at her Valley home this weekend. (11369 Dona Lisa Drive, Studio City) Ads promise sale items represent "fifteen years of buying and collecting." But there's something fishy here. First of all, since when does Tori live in middle class Studio City? And take a look at these photos of the roomsful of items for sale. Doilies everywhere! Plastic plants! Grandma style dishes! Not to mention used cosmetics - and don't forget that fire extinguisher under the vanity. Granted, there's an occasional picture of Tori propped up, but we're not buying the notion of Tori Spelling lounging on white wicker furniture. Either this is someone else's house, or Tori Spelling's taste is MUCH worse than we suspected. Candy would be humiliated. Or maybe that's the idea.
The feud between Tori Spelling and her mother Candy is not likely to burn out until Tori's faux reality show So Notorious is history. Tori's TV mom (called Kiki and played to a T by Loni Anderson,) is incredibly vain and self - centered and prone to making comments like "Tori, Life isn't all about YOU." Besides that, Kiki is an oversexed tramp who makes passes at Tori's boyfriends. Oddly enough, none of those awful traits bothered Candy as much as a reference in the script that greedy Kiki was in the habit of selling gift-bag freebies on eBay. THAT was the last straw. No matter how often Tori insists that Kiki is just a comic character on the show and not based on fact, Candy is still steaming.
