It's interesting how confident Soon-Yi seems in her marriage- she never makes much of an effort to look particularly stylish or wear make up. Woody can fuss over his favorite leading lady Scarlett Johansson all he wants, and Soon-Yi never bats and eye.
Woody Allen was hugely disappointed when his muse Scarlett Johansson failed to show up for the sensational premier of his new movie "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" at the Cannes film festival. Scarlett's costars Penelope Cruz and Rebecca Hall DID show up for the event and they were thrilled when the movie got a ten minute standing ovation. Scarlett's reps had made some unfortunate demands that Warner Bros wouldn't agree to. On top of all the other first class arrangements, Scarlett wanted to bring a ten thousand dollar a DAY personal makeup artist, and she didn't want to stay in the convenient Cannes hotel with the rest of the cast. She wanted a private hotel thirty miles away that would have jeopardized their tight schedule. She did promise to make it up to Woody by promoting the movie in the US.
Each spring, Anna Wintour, the terrifying editor of Vogue, has an extravagant party - the Met's Costume Institute Gala - and everybody dresses to kill. This year Anna declared the theme was "superheroes" (whatever THAT means) and strongly advised invitees to dress accordingly. She ordered all her Vogue staffers to wear white or silver. Faced with this dilemma, stars' imaginations scattered in all directions.

Scarlett is adorable in her "ballerina gone bad" outfit - especially since it's accessorized with her new engagement ring from Ryan Reynolds. Janet's dress is not that interesting or original but her skin looks gorgeous next to white.

Celebrities often complain that they are recognized and stared at and hounded by fans when they go out in public. Of course, if you're surrounded by bodyguards, you're bound to attract a few glances. Carrying a $20,000 handbag, or getting out of an Escalade with blacked out windows can also draw attention. Scarlett Johansson dropped everything in Miami and flew to LA to attend Justin Timberlake's big pre-Grammy party at Avalon. Few people realized she was AT the event because she was quietly smuggled in and escorted to a private opera box on the side of the stage. She didn't mingle, and Justin was onstage performing for what seemed like HOURS. She reportedly left quietly before the show was over. Form your own conclusions.
It's no ACCIDENT that Justin Timberlake hooked up with juicy Scarlett Johansson now that he's a free man again. (You read it HERE first!) Justin had has his eye on Scarlett for awhile and he PERSONALLY pursued her to appear in his video so he could really get to know her. He's especially impressed because Scarlett says she doesn't believe in monogamy - she likes an open relationship. That suits Justin just fine - it's the best of both worlds. Since Justin doesn't want to cause any extra pain for his ex Cameron Diaz, he's keeping the relationship undercover for now.
There was some VERY interesting gossip floating around one LA nightclub on New Year's Eve, but we don't know whether it's absolute fact or the booze talking. After a few cocktails, a friend of Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz remarked that "they broke up almost two weeks ago." (the last time WE saw them together was at Justin's SNL appearance two weeks ago.) Then, the so-called source dropped the REAL BOMB - he predicted that Justin would eventually hook up with Scarlett Johansson. - implying that something was already going on between them. For your information, Scarlett spent New Year's at Hyde with her girlfriends, looking bored. It's Hollywood - anything can happen.
Maybe the fact that Scarlett Johansson just got back from Italy explains this Dolce Vita bouffant. She has that Italian starlet in the 60's look - pale lips and all. Don't scowl, this could be the beginning of a new tease and spray fad that will sweep the country.
