Maybe she's dressing up for her on-again boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel. We might have guessed that she and Jimmy were back together - they obviously collaborated to get the Enquirer to print that chubby chasing story.
Everybody can use a good laugh nowadays, considering the state of the economy and politics. The National Enquirer made us laugh out loud when we read their story about the REAL reason that Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman split up after five years together. A supposed "friend" of Jimmy told the paper that Jimmy was shocked when he found dozens of photos of overweight men in various stages of undress on his computer. When he confronted her she admitted she's into fat guys - she's a "chubby chaser." The source said Jimmy was turned off by her obsession , even though he's a hefty guy. We can't help but think this tale is a set up and that Sarah or Jimmy will somehow use this story in their acts. But it IS hilarious.
Since when is hifalutin' Vanity Fair magazine getting into the gossip act? Times must be tough because now they're scrambling to break scoops on their website just like the rest of us gossip bloggers! They were first to announce the bustup of Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman and we're afraid this might start an unfortunate trend. Celebrities wanting to butter up Vanity Fair might release their news to them first. Certainly People magazine can't be thrilled about this development. As for Jimmy and Sarah, they were a hot couple and we wonder how the split will affect their careers.
Let's be fair, Britney wasn't the only one who bombed at the VMA's. Sarah Silverman didn't do anything to increase her fan base either. It's not that we don't love it when celebrities are dissed - Kathy Griffin is masterful at THAT task. Young and beautiful Sarah Silverman is obviously very smart, but manages to talk like an ignorant GUY! Her entire act made us CRINGE- rather than laugh. Celebrities in the audience didn't know what to do with their faces during HER act either. Tough guys winced. She's proved is IS possible to be too mean spirited - even for MTV.
