We're guessing Ruben Studdard's new bride is freaked out by the news that her American Idol seems to have serious financial problems. Ruben, the second Idol winner in 2003, and his girlfriend Surata Zuri McCants met at a CD signing at Wal-Mart in 2006. He followed her all over the store until he got a date. They've barely been married for two months and it's just been revealed that he owes back taxes and has liens on several properties. Ruben has no record contract at this time and it's not known if he has the money to pay the nearly $200,000 in back taxes. Surata might be wondering what she's gotten herself into.

Janet how SEXIST of you to think she only married him for his money. As a women you should be ashamed of yourself. This isn't 1940. We are capable of earning our own money, but obviously you are the gold-digging type that would only marry for money.
