Robert's clothing makes him look less stuffy than the usual Holmes, and rather modern in a neo-romantic way. This photo was taken at a London location. Rachel McAdams is costarring with Jude Law as Dr Watson. Oh, and Mark Strong, that good looking guy who played Archie in RocknRolla is in it too.
We're amazed and fascinated by the fact that both of these photos are of Robert Downey Jr. He makes a plausible black man, doesn't he? Robert is made up for his role in Ben Stiller's new comedy "Tropic Thunder." It's a satire about hammy actors thrown into unexpected jungle circumstances. London papers are trying to stir up indignation by saying Downey's insulting in "black face" and suggesting they should have hired a black actor for the role. Ridiculous. It's just a comedy. Maybe it'll be funnier than Ben's usual gross-out movies.

Il Sole again. Ben Stiller and his wife Christine had dinner with Robert Downey Jr and his wife Susan last night. They had plenty to talk about. Ben and Robert are currently filming Tropic Thunder in Hawaii. That's the movie where Matthew McConaughey replaced Owen Wilson and Tom Cruise MIGHT be doing a cameo. Downey's blonde hair is hard to get used to.
