His recent abrupt announcement that he's checking into sex rehab indicates one of two things: First, his wife Tea Leoni caught him red-handed cheating, and his claiming that he has a "treatable disorder" might get him off the hook. (We suspect she doesn't really want a divorce.) The second possibility is that someone he cheated WITH sold her story to the National Enquirer and it's about to come out. Those are the only reasons we can think of that would cause an actor to publicly announce that he has a compulsive sexual disorder. We hope his marriage survives.
To be honest, sweet little Heather Locklear is one of the last people we ever expected to land in rehab. But since her divorce from Richie Sambora her personal problems have escalated. According to the Enquirer, Heather didn't deliver herself to rehab to treat her "depression and anxiety" - she actually needed help with her addictions to alcohol, cocaine, and sleeping pills. On June 19 she checked into the Sierra Tucson clinic for treatment, but like Amy Winehouse , she checked OUT way too soon - on July 4! Her publicist says she's still in treatment somewhere - we hope it's true.
Rolling Stone and admitted alcoholic Ronnie Wood, 62, has fallen off the wagon in a BIG way. He's moved an 18 year old Russian cocktail waitress that he met at an "escort bar" into his house in Ireland. Ronnie's long suffering wife of 23 years, Jo, (above left) and their four children are living in his home in England. Ronnie met Ekaterina Ivanova (above right) three months ago after the London premier of his movie "Shine a Light" and they've been on a drinking binge together ever since. Wood has been to rehab half a dozen times - once he was carted off after he was found inebriated under a restaurant table, biting peoples ankles. His publicist admits he's downing three bottles of vodka a day with his teenage companion. Ronnie loves to party - he once said "I don't want to end up being a bore like Eric Clapton."
David Hasselhoff popped into Cedars- Sinai Medical Center for yet another overnight detox on February 7! According to the Enquirer, David, who is appearing on the new Knight Rider MOW, is in the habit of indulging in excessive drinking binges that land him in the emergency room with alcohol poisoning. He gets treatment and stays overnight. The next day he walks out, feeling better. Sometimes, straight to another bar! He did this hospital routine twice in 48 hours last December. The Hoff refers to these hospital mini-rehab visits as "pit stops." He also has the most aggressive lawyers in Hollywood so if this item abruptly disappears, you'll know why!
When TMZ's story about Delta Burke seeking psychiatric help for her hoarding problem came out, we just HAD to find out what Delta has stuffed into those 27 or 30 storage units she has. We pondered; wardrobe items from Designing Women that are too small and out of style? (We pictured rack after rack of Suzanne's polka dot power suits.) Or did Delta collect box after box of old business papers and mail that she can't bear to toss? Neither, it turns out. Mostly, Delta collects furniture- she can't resist English and French period antiques. Plus, of course tons of glassware and decorative items from the period. She also has two rooms full of porcelain dolls. It seems every time she moves to a new house she puts everything in storage and starts over. Ironically her California home is contemporary and the antiques are unsuitable! Delta admits she has bought the same thing TWICE because she couldn't FIND the first one. Facing the task of sorting out all that stuff is enough to send anyone to the funny farm - we suggest she call Your Little Helper.
While Lindsay Lohan was a Cirque Lodge rehab in Utah she managed to cut back on drugs and booze - only to concentrate on sex! She has at least two women outraged because she destroyed their relationships. In September the wife of fellow patient Tony Allen charged in divorce papers that Lindsay broke up their marriage. Now that Lindsay is declaring her love for another patient, Riley Giles, HIS exfiancee is outraged. Riley's former fiancee Breanna Tierney told The Enquirer she had met Lohan at the Lodge, but "When Riley confessed he had sex with Lindsay in one of the stairwells at Cirque- we were DONE. Lindsay has no morals." Breanna was also shocked to learn that her addicted ex had given her a fake diamond engagement ring. Lindsay, you can have him!

It looks like rehab did "Surreal Life" star Brigitte Nielsen some good. Her young Italian husband Mattia Dessi, pictured here, urged her to take the treatment and clean up her act. She resisted, but eventually spent several weeks at Cri Help in North Hollywood. Alcohol must have been very involved in her dalliance with Flava Flav, but eventually she came to her senses and married Mattia. Bosomy Brigitte and Mattia were seen having lunch at the Euro capital of LA, Café Med on Sunset Plaza.
Owen Wilson enjoyed a sunny day at Venice beach this week under the watchful eye of his brother Andrew. (His wrist scar is healing nicely.) Apparently his family members are afraid to leave him alone. They're still trying to coax him into rehab but it's funny how the people who need it most, refuse to cooperate. Unless a judge declares they have no choice.
Michael Lohan had better hurry up and pay a quick visit to his daughter Lindsay at Cirque Lodge rehab in Utah, because her days there might be numbered. We're surprised that they didn't kick her out when she was accused of having sex with a male patient in the bathroom she was SUPPOSED to be cleaning. She's not only shirking chores, but she supposedly tested positive for cocaine when given a surprise drug test. We wonder if the egotistical Lindsay remembers that her plea bargain hinged on COMPLETING rehab - if she doesn't, she could face a looong jail sentence.

Just as the world suspected - Amy Winehouse's "exhaustion" was drug induced. A source told UK's Sun that she was smoking heroin and doing ecstasy, cocaine, and a horse tranquilizer Ketamine, during the three day drug and booze binge that landed her in the hospital half dead. She did NOT go to rehab like her parents hoped, instead her family checked her into the Four Seasons Hotel to get her away from her druggie friends. Her father wants her to have minders 24 hours a day to keep her away from temptation. She's having trouble eating and keeping food down. Her friends blame her husband Blake for her downfall - "he controls her like a puppet-master." Amy told her mother she thinks she will die young.

Lindsay Lohan partied at Les Deux and ended up with pals at Mel's Diner for a late night snack. She's proudly flaunting that ankle bracelet that measures alcohol consumption, but we sense a trend here. Recently a lot of people with substance problems have been leaving rehab and denouncing either alcohol OR drugs but not both. They give up their most problematic habit but not the other. Just because Lindsay wears an anklet doesn't mean she can't pop or snort any drug (prescription or otherwise) that she wants. The anklet won't tell. She's hanging with the same fast club crowd - you do the math.
We're hearing that the reason Lindsay Lohan is being so cooperative about extending her rehab treatment is because she no longer has access to her money! So if she wanted to escape or buy drugs she can't do it. Supposedly she was complaining to friends that she stays in touch with, that her assets are temporarily frozen. She can't touch her savings or checking accounts or use credit cards. We don't know if a judge or her family could do that, but she is under 21. If it's true, it might be the best thing that ever happened to her.

This is a man fresh out of rehab and Robbie Williams isn't looking very relaxed. Shopping at Barneys never gave us wild eyes like that. And he practically BURST out the door because he was so desperate for a cigarette. Has Robbie rerouted his addictive personality to smoking and shopping?
Figures that Lindsay Lohan and Robbie Williams would strike up a friendship. They're both fresh out of rehab, in denial, and out clubbing every night. Lindsay was at her new favorite place Winston's last night and she was described as "shit-faced." The eyewitness said she was "having difficulty controlling her body" - in other words she could barely walk. We imagine Lindsay and Robbie have a hard time explaining their nightclubbing in those AA meetings where hanging around in bars is frowned upon, to say the least.
Kevin Federline and Lynne Spears have called a truce and they're working together to care for Britney's babies and make sure Britney completes her treatment in rehab. The first time Britney checked into Promises, we told you that Kevin took advantage of her absence and seized his sons who were being cared for at the Malibu house by Lynne. That's why Britney broke out and she and her mother finally reached an agreement with Kevin. He's caring for the kids, with the help of his family and Lynne, while Britney is away. Kevin told Britney if she doesn't complete rehab treatment, she won't get the boys back. Right now Kevin and Lynne are together interviewing new nannies to help with the kids. We hope whoever gets the job will email this website!

This missing bombshell explains a LOT. Britney had a good reason for busting out of Promises rehab early Wednesday. K-Fed had KIDNAPPED her children! Not long after Brit checked into the Malibu rehab, Kevin appeared at the Malibu house and TOOK the children away from Britney's mother. Her mom tried to get police help but they wouldn't get involved since Kevin was their father and had legal custody. Plus, of course Britney was not there. He took the children to his house in Sherman Oaks. Kevin confided to friends that he thought Britney was "crazy" and he loves his children too much to leave them with her family. Kevin's family, including his mother, are at the house with the kids. His friends say he has a very "normal" family. THAT's why Brit broke out of rehab and ran straight to a lawyer's office. (above) Kevin reasoned with her and let her visit the kids to see they were all right. He told her she must complete rehab in order to get the children back. So now she's back in treatment and motivated.
We just found out exactly what Britney was doing Sunday night at her friend's party that was at On The Rox - not the Roxy. Brit's friend had rented out the private club On The Rox and arranged for karaoke to be set up. Britney arrived with girlfriends who roamed around and left her alone at a corner table in her blonde wig. But Britney DRANK with a vengeance. She asked that all her cocktails be served in plastic cups SO PEOPLE WOULD THINK IT WAS SODA. She downed tequila, vodka, Midori sour, and asked for champagne. What a mix. The karaoke started and a guy got up and started to sing Brit's "Hit Me Baby, One More Time" hit. "Britney freaked out and was nearly crying." another guest told us. She asked the manager to "PLEASE STOP THIS SONG" and he said "I can't do that - he's a friend of the party host" -he didn't realize who she was, so she told him. He had no time to react, because she stormed off in a fury. All we can say is thank goodness for rehab.
Rumors that Keith Urban checked back into rehab were circulating last week, but they proved to be untrue. Keith and Nicole continue to live at the Beverly Hills Hotel while she films "Invasion." (A remake of The Body Snatchers that we can't wait to see) Nicole wasn't injured in that movie car accident a few days ago, but Keith sent her a lavish bouquet of flowers to cheer her up after the close call. They were seen hand in hand wandering around the 3rd Street Promenade this past weekend , with no photographers hot on their trail.

We're hearing that music producer Scott Storch is the real brains behind getting Lindsay Lohan into rehab- certainly not Brandon Davis, who seems to be taking credit for it. According to an insider, here's what went down: Lindsay and Scott and Paris Hilton were partying like crazy Saturday night at Xenii. Brandon who is Paris's roomate was by their side. They were boozing it up, making out with each other and there just MIGHT have been some white powder flying around. "Paris is a big instigator when it comes to overdoing anything." It got to be such an orgy of indulgence that Scott became the voice of reason - he said "Enough is enough!" (He wants Lindsay as a recording artist.) He saw that Lindsay was WAY too messed up . A few days later he suggested that Lindsay and Brandon both go to rehab and volunteered to take them. They agreed, but Brandon backed out at the last minute leaving Lindsay on her own.
Despite what you read elsewhere, Keith Urban is being treated for substance abuse at the Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, Cal. His people deliberately hinted that he was back at the same rehab near Nashville where he was previously treated and they managed to throw the press off the scent. And of course, those stories about Nicole "visiting " him there are fabricated. In fact, Bettty Ford does not allow patients to have ANY visitors for at least the first three weeks of treatment. After that a visit for a few hours on Sundays is permitted. Keith is very serious about his treatment - he's not lounging at a Malibu rehab for spoiled rich kids. But Keith and Nicole HAVE kept in touch - thanks to webcams. Keith looks forward to his monitored communication with Nicole on the webcam. Nicole is spending as much time as possible close to Los Angeles while Keith is in treatment. She hopes to see him as often as allowed, as time goes by. Meanwhile their webcam trysts are all they have.
Since Keith Urban checked into rehab, rumors have been swirling about where he might be, and whether Nicole Kidman is a frequent visitor. Naturally it's a big secret, but the media has speculated that he might be at a place called Cumberland Heights Clinic in Tennesee because it's close to his home. WE hear he's actually checked into the old stand-by, Betty Ford in California. Urban's management team is in Southern California and they probably joined up with Nicole to make it all happen. Since Betty Ford limits visitors during early treatment, we doubt whether Nicole is spending time with him yet. But she WILL.
We WONDERED why Robin Williams has been acting so odd lately. He alternated between being totally withdrawn and absurdly friendly instead of his usual just-plain manic. And he seemed to be sweating even more than usual. The National Enquirer solved the mystery - Robin's secret alcohol problem landed him in rehab July 11 - at Hazelden in Oregon. The last straw was when all sorts of pricey merchandise - including Japanese animation art - ( and socks?) started being delivered to his house and Robin had no memory of ordering it online! That's when you KNOW it's time to check in!

And all Brandon has to do is spend 30 days being pampered at the "celebrity spa" rehab that features private rooms with plasma tv's, daily massages, horseback riding lessons etc. Not a bad deal.
