It was rumored that they fought over having children and went home early, but that wasn't the case. Today Charlie announced that he and Brooke are expecting a baby. Ten seconds later it was revealed that Brooke had, in fact, been shopping for pregnancy products this past weekend, so the cat WAS out of the bag. She bought maternity skincare items by Belli - presumably to prevent stretch marks etc. This news should make for an interesting episode on the Denise Richards show if it comes back.

We didn't think Lisa Marie Presley could get any bigger than she was the last time we saw her, but...she did. If her expression is any indication, Lisa must be the unhappiest pregnant celebrity we can remember. Despite expecting twins, she's still making an effort to go out - here she's leaving Waverly Inn in New York with her long-suffering husband Michael Lockwood. Who is his hatmaker, anyway?
This is the photo that started all the rumors that Whitney Houston might be pregnant! She's more voluptuous than before and has a little tummy. According to those in the know, she is NOT expecting. One friend suspects that she recently had her implants made larger. Another says she just tends to get a bit bloated sometimes. So don't start a "baby bump" watch just yet.

We're only kidding. Actually Lisa Marie Presley, who's supposedly pregnant with twins, actually looks quite respectable, if not a little eccentric. She and her husband Michael Lockwood DO have a unique fashion sense. They went to dinner at Madeo in all their finery.

Angelina Jolie took Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh for a walk in New Orleans. We just hope the rumor that she's expecting a boy and a girl are true. This has to be the world's favorite family. Imagine the chaos with six kids! Pax is probably off spending some quality time with Brad - he likes to spend time alone with each of them individually.
Kimora Lee Simmons keeps insisting that she is NOT pregnant with her boyfriend Djimon Hounsou's baby. "Lies, lies, lies!" She told NY writer Simon Doonan "I am NOT expecting a child. One day I may be and it will be fabulous!" (We recall a reporter asking what Kimora wanted for Christmas this past year and she answered "A baby.") Anyway, if she's NOT expecting, how does Kimora explain the fact that she's looking "hefty" - to put it politely. Former models - especially '"fabulous" ones- rarely leave the house looking bloated. There's more to this story than meets the eye.
Lisa Marie Presley,40, has verified the pregnancy you read about here in February and it's painfully obvious WHY. She looks as big as a house. It's funny how some people, like Halle Berry, just expand in the tummy when they're expecting and look as attractive as ever. Lisa seems to have plumped up everywhere and she doesn't appear to be happy about it. And those Elvis-inspired sunglasses aren't helping a bit.
Nobody's been scrutinizing Lisa Marie Presley's tummy for a potential pregnancy and wouldn't you know it - the Enquirer says she is expecting a baby. Apparently Lisa suffered a miscarriage when she married her current husband Michael Lockwood two years ago and she's justifiably nervous about expecting again at the age of 40. We're not thrilled about the prospect of having another Scientologist brought into the world, but maybe the kid will be as cute as her model daughter Riley. (above right)

It's getting so a girl can't exhale or eat dessert without setting off alarms. As far as anyone knows, Kate is NOT expecting, but from now on she'll be closely observed.

If this voluminous frock that Angelina Jolie wore to the SAG Awards doesn't shout "HEY, I'M PREGNANT WITH TWINS!" then we don't know how to take a hint. (As we recall, Jennifer Lopez used the same method of communication.) Apparently her reps have not yet denied the unsubstantiated rumor about multiple expectations, and Angie has now accelerated the rumor.
Nicole Kidman has ANNOUNCED that she is pregnant! Big Deal. Everybody knew she was expecting weeks ago but she chose to deny it. Somehow our happiness for her has been spoiled by the fact that she LIED to us. Avoiding the issue is one thing, lying is another.

Nicole Richie is terrified of childbirth. The closer she gets to her delivery date the more her anxiety she's building up. She's afraid of the pain and obsessing over all the bad things that might happen. To get a grip on herself she's being treated by the same hypnotist who's helped her in the past to give up smoking. This specialist has worked with a lot of Hollywood clients who need to deal with dieting or with assorted addictions, including drugs. He's helping Nicole to relax and stay calm and think positive thoughts as the big day approaches.
Halle Berry's offspring will certainly start out as one of the luckiest babies in the world. First of all, the kid has gorgeous parents - dad's a Versace model and mom's a movie star. To top it off, Halle has asked Oprah Winfrey be the baby's godmother and she said YES. Can you imagine what it will be like at Christmas and birthdays for this child? Oprah is famous for her generosity and we're betting this kid will need a gigantic toy box.
We heard a sensational rumor that we can't PROVE, but it just might be true, so we're going to tell you what we know and let YOU be the judge. According to a source, Nicole Ritchie is expecting TWINS! This source predicts that Nicole's reps are planning to release the information when it will be most beneficial to her. If you think about it, no one at Nicole's baby shower seemed to have any idea whether she was expecting a girl or boy so she hasn't discussed it. Of course twins for a person as tiny as Nicole might be complicated. In other words, scary. If this tip turns out to be true, and it just MIGHT, remember you read it here FIRST!
Jennifer Lopez is indeed pregnant - and with MORE THAN ONE BABY- according to TMZ. As if this photo weren't enough evidence, they apparently wangled a confession out of her. We have to assume there were doctors and fertilization techniques involved in this pregnancy and that greatly increases the possibility of multiple births. We hope they all look like their mom.
Sara Gilbert, who played the smart-alecky daughter on Roseanne, was seen this week at Leonor's Mexican vegetarian restaurant in Studio City looking VERY pregnant. Sara and her girlfriend of five years, Allison Adler, are TAKING TURNS having babies. Allison gave birth to their first child - a boy named Levi in 2004. Sara's sister Melissa Gilbert (Little House on the Prairie) is reportedly very excited about becoming an aunt again.
Birthdays after forty are never easy, but Eddie Murphy woke up to a double whammy today. Not only did he turn 46, but he might have become a father again, against his will. Eddie's exgirlfriend Melanie Brown gave birth to a baby girl in Santa Monica just after midnight. She claims Eddie is the father, but Eddie isn't so sure - he wants a DNA test. The baby hasn't been named yet - maybe Mel is waiting to see if Eddie has a change of heart and comes to visit them. We think it's an amazing coincidence that the baby was born on Eddie's birthday. DNA rules.

As we told you awhile back, Nicole Kidman is definitely NOT pregnant. And she just PROVED IT by shopping at the baby store Petit Tresor. This shop must have a direct line to the media - every time a celebrity walks in the door they trumpet every detail of the purchase. (And we lOVE them for that!) If Nicole were keeping a pregnancy under wraps, this is the LAST store she'd shop in. Plus, of course, newly pregnant women don't go out buying baby clothes right away - that can be unlucky. Nicole is too smart for that.
Even more than Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's apparent height difference, we are amazed at the proliferation of "Nicole pregnant " stories in those magazines you pay for. You can't escape reading stories about Nicole expecting - one story printed went so far as to detail a conversation that Nicole and Keith Urban had when she went to visit her husband, currently in recovery at the Betty Ford Center. They claimed she "broke the news" of her pregnancy there. The same inside sources who were first to reveal to us exactly WHERE Keith was being treated, tell us that Nicole is NOT expecting right now. She simply visited Keith because she loves and misses her husband - she wants him healthy and home soon.
She's not talking, but it looks like Britney Spears revealed what sex her baby will be! Britney and her hunky driver/bodyguard/nanny popped into the upscale shop Sugar in Westlake recently. "They arrived in a white Range Rover - (isn't that the car she gave Kevin awhile back?) Britney wore a top with many stains, and she had extensions in her dark hair. It was hot and she looked frazzled. Her "Manny" held the baby while Britney looked for loose fitting comfortable clothes for herself." The eyewitness remarked "He seems like a lot more than just a bodyguard." Other shoppers looked on from a polite distance. She tried on a few things and selected over a thousand dollars worth of tops and little dresses for herself. "She was very polite and nice to everyone. At one point she asked another customer "Who cut your hair?" She loved her haircut. She spotted a trendy plush baby blanket - IN PINK- admired it - and quietly added it to her purchases. The blanket was around $75 - $100. Nobody commented on the color, they just looked knowingly at each other as she left.
