The Amazing Race picked up a slew of new viewers when they added punk kids Vyxsin and Kynt from Louisville to show #14. (Kynt was the first contestant to lug a flat iron hair straightener in his backpack.) Maybe their beauty needs slowed them down, and the colorful pair didn't win, but they are stretching their fifteen minutes of fame by moving to Hollywood. Last week they hosted a pop-up party for Amazing Race at Shakey's Pizza on Hollywood Blvd. Fans were invited via an open invitation in Facebook and MySpace, and 200 showed up for the free pizza, soda, beer, and pink and black t shirts. Vxysin and Kynt are already booked to host several more parties in different locations.
His affiliation with The Sopranos still opens doors and get party invites for Robert Iler, who played Tony Soprano's moody son, A.J. He and Jamie-Lynn Sigler got the red carpet treatment at the new club Cabana One at the Mayfair Hotel in Miami. He still has that pasty New York look, though.

We're assuming the fans who paid $250 to get into Miley Cyrus's early birthday party at Disneyland last night got their money's worth. It wasn't a very intimate party - with 5000 people (some invited, some bought tickets) - but both Miley and her father performed for the crowd. We were especially interested to see that Miley made a point of inviting American Idol runner up David Archuleta. Last July we told you Miley has her eye on David - she thinks he's really cute AND talented and wants to work with him. In a party crowd that size however, it's unlikely they had any time together.

Anybody can make a fashion mistake, but this one is a doozy. Kim Kardashian is a natural beauty but she had a major lapse in taste when she wore this outfit to the Ultimate Summer Party sponsored by Sunkist. Her purple mini dress is too short, too shiny, and too tight. And that constricting leather belt in the middle! It couldn't be less flattering and the ankle boots aren't helping to achieve that "summery" look. Poor Kim looks about 20 pounds heavier. Better luck next time.
This just in- Elizabeth Taylor is out on the town again! Usually she favors The Abbey in West Hollywood but tonight she's partying at a hotter club - Hyde. As we speak, she's holding a martini in her hand and appears to be having plenty of fun. We wonder if her friends dress her up and roll her up to popular clubs because no doorman would say no to Liz Taylor - and her friends would never get into these places without her.

We love this photo of Tom Cruise's sprawling estate - party preparations are underway right now and the place is loaded with catering staffers and security guards scurrying about. Whether the party is for a particular occasion is still unknown. A Scientology event, perhaps?

Earlier this week Victoria Beckham planned to fly in to LA to attend a birthday party for a stylist friend of hers. During the party, which took place at Goa, she called and apologetically said she'd be late because her flight was delayed. When Victoria finally landed, she dressed in a hurry and rushed to Goa, but found it was closed and the party was over! It was 3 AM but she had no intention of missing her friend's special day, so she dashed over to his house to personally wish the surprised guy a happy birthday and present him with a gift.

Do you ever get the feeling that you can tell what the future will bring just by looking at a picture? This photo of Lindsay Lohan taking her 14 year old sister Ali out to the Kobe Club in New York reveals a lot. First of all, it looks like Lindsay slapped a lot of makeup on her little sister so she'd appear to be old enough to get into the place. Looking closely, one gets the chilling feeling that Ali is indeed following in her big sisters zigzagging footsteps.
