Vinnie Jones was a former football player and reputed to be one of the most macho guys in the UK when he appeared as a very convincing gangster in Guy Ritchie's "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels." (He WAS great, wasn't he?) Not long after that film he moved to Hollywood to become a movie star and his English fans think tinseltown has ruined him. They were very upset to see this photo of Vinnie holding his dressed up little dog in one hand, and carrying a dainty shopping bag in the other!
We came across this picture while researching the item about Paris Hilton's mini cat and it's too cute not to post. Could any kitten possibly be that small? After looking at all those pictures of Lindsay and Nicole and Britney, it's nice to clear your palate by glancing at a sweet picture like this once in awhile. Let's hope Paris doesn't get her hands on it.
We can appreciate that Paris Hilton loves animals but we think she's way off base with her mini-cat. We hear she's got a cat that was bred to be a tiny dwarf and like most dwarves it has short bowed legs. We think breeding animals to be dwarfs or midgets is unethical and they usually have numerous health problems because of it. They're cute, but not healthy or able to function like a regular cat. For example these short legged cats can't jump like normal felines and might break bones because their legs aren't long enough to absorb the shock. Plus they have internal problems. But as long as wealthy people like Paris buy these pets, they will be produced by unscrupulous breeders. Paris should think about adopting her cats at a shelter.
BUZZFOTO.COMX-men star Famke Janssen admits she is obsessed with her dog Licorice. "I am consumed by my dog and treat him like a baby. He's all I can handle now - Lick can travel everywhere with me and he doesn't drink or do drugs. So he's not much trouble."
As the saying goes...people start to resemble their dogs and vice versa. But in Mickey Rourke's case the opposite is true. If you look closely, you can see that Mickey's face isn't as pretty as it used to be (In Diner, for example. ) The combination of the boxing ring and cosmetic surgical procedures has played havoc with his badboy looks. Yet his physique remains reasonably trim. Mickey's beloved chihuahua (mix?) on the other hand, has maintained a pretty face in spite of the fact that the pooch is grossly overfed. And this is a breed that shows every extra ounce! Mickey- please stop feeding your dog what you eat!

Ashley Olsen dropped off her pampered pup at LA Dogworks on Highland - an exclusive and very posh canine resort/spa. They feaure hydrotherapy, massage, daycare, training, and boarding that consists of bunkbeds and flatscreen TV's (like a Four Seasons for dogs.) We can't help but wonder what it's like to wear those six inch high shoes and boots that the petite Olsen sisters favor - both day and night. They must have a terrific sense of balance. We can't remember the last time we saw them in sneakers.
Is Oprah downsizing? Oprah is leaving her ten million dollar sprawl of five connected condos at the Water Tower Place in Chicago and moving to an older building at ultra exclusive East Lake Shore Drive. She had 10,000 square feet at her old place and the new six million dollar condo is half the size. "The condo she's moving into has views of the lake from every room and takes up an entire floor. The building is very exclusive and private - "old money" - no riff raff. She'll have more privacy there." A source told us. "It's about as exclusive as you can get in Chicago." But we hear a main reason she's moving is because of her beloved five DOGS - the new building is more dog-friendly. She got complaints from her neighbors in the old place. She wants nothing but the best for them.
George Clooney is mourning the loss of the longest lasting love of his life - his pig Max. George got Max back in the eighties from his live-in girlfriend Kelly Preston. His romance with Kelly was over in a year, but Max was in his life until last week when he died of old age at 18. Max ALWAYS lived with George and had run of the house. Sometimes George's girlfriends were awakened by snorting in their ear when Max hopped into bed with them. Mark Wahlberg says he stayed overnight at George's place once and woke up to find Max snuggled beside him. Of all George's girlfriends, Renee Zellweger was really enchanted with Max - she loved the way Max followed George everywhere. George spoiled Max with a $1500 train set (he loved to watch the trains go around) and thought nothing of spending $25 a pound for chocolate covered pretzels for Max. (Pigs love chocolate and it doesn't hurt them) Who will George share his bed with now?
Granted, Adrien Brody has a beautiful new girlfriend, Spanish actress/model Elsa Pataky, to keep him busy, but he's still absolutely crazy about his Chihuahua Ceelo. He takes Ceelo almost everywere he goes and to keep the pooch from feeling neglected he transports his beloved pup in an $8000 crocodile carrying bag. That's even more expensive than Jessica Simpson's latest designer handbag.
Okay, sometimes we get tired of looking at pictures of photogenic Jessica Simpson - because there are SO many of them around ! But we can't get enough of her little Maltipoo Daisy - in this pic Daisy seems to be pointing Jessica in the right direction. We doubt that it's toward John Mayer.
Is Liz a criminal? If it's a crime to love your dog too much - then, yes, she is! Recently Liz chartered a private plane to fly her and friends to Hawaii where she was photographed observing the sharks. Nobody paid much attention to the fact that Liz had her beloved Maltese Daisy with her at the hotel, and they were inseparable throughout the vacation. She stayed at the luxurious Kahala hotel where pets are welcome. But the fact is, Liz smuggled her pet onto the island. Animals are subject to a SIX MONTH quarantine (fear of rabies) in Hawaii, so mainland visitors don't bring their pets. But somehow, sneaky Liz managed to smuggle her Daisy right past officials.
