He was on a very famous Japanese variety TV show called, "Bistro SMAP" a few months ago. On the show famous celebs order a type of food they would like to eat. I forgot what he ordered, but EVERY TIME he put something in his mouth to eat, he covered it with his other hand. Sometimes in Japan women do this, so I don't know if he was trying to be culturally aware, or if he didn't want to be filmed eating. At any rate, perhaps he's covering his mouth while eating in the photo above.

He's a fine actor. I just wish he'd get over the fact he's getting older and leave the plugs out and let the gray come in.
