His friends find it hard to believe that Oscar winner Morgan Freeman,71, would cheat on his wife, but apparently his wife believes it. According to The National Enquirer, Morgan's wife Myrna, 67, is consulting a divorce attorney because she thinks he cheated with a woman who had been her friend. They've been happily married for 24 years and Morgan is said to be in shock. He's currently appearing on Broadway in "The Country Girl" while Myrna resides at their horse farm in Charleston, Miss. Insiders tell us that Morgan does like to surround himself with women, but he's always a gentleman, so who he could possibly have cheated with remains a mystery. If he's smart he'll run right home with a big box from Tiffany.

Right, and if SHE's smart, she'll hire 3 or 4 ACE P.I.'s to find out the truth. I have read that he is pompous and struck on himself. I believe he would and has cheated. Where there's smoke, there is fire.
When she gets the goods on him, she should kick him out and take him for all she can.

I've heard from film journalists that he always hits on young female film journalists, a little too much, if you know what I mean. And a Tiffany's box is no substitute for genuine affection and attention.

Well it seems his wife's suspicions could be warranted. He and a female friend were seriously injured in a car accident in the wee hours of the morning Sunday. He was driving the 1997 Nissan Maxima owned by the female companion. They were in route to his home after leaving a friends home near Charleston, MS.
I remember meeting Morgan Freeman several times as a reporter and he was sooo nice to me. What a gentleman I thought. Now I wonder if the niceness had anything behind it. I'm disappointed, but not surprised. The 60 minutes piece indicated that he spent weeks on a boat by himself. I wondered what his wife was doing during his soul searching time alone. Now I know what he was doing. He was probably doing it all the time...he probably got so brazen with it, she had no other choice but divorce him. She'll be fine. She'll probably get the horse farm, an LA House, A NY Penthouse and cash galore. Myrna is smiling right now with all this exposure. Payback is a mutha.
