Miley Cyrus and her family celebrated her dad's birthday yesterday at a Chinese restaurant. Miley and Billy Ray, her mom Tish and little sister Noah had lunch at City Wok in Studio City. Even the Chinese chicken salad wasn't quite enough to amuse Miley - she texted friends between bites.
19 year old Trace Cyrus is an interesting contrast to his half sister Miley Cyrus. He has a different father but Billy Ray adopted him. Trace has a band called Metro Station and we think he's influenced by The Ramones.
He didn't win American idol, but David Archuleta could walk away with another kind of prize - Miley Cyrus! One of Miley's friends says that Miley has a schoolgirl crush on the 17 year old crooner and she's already asked him to make a cameo appearance in her upcoming Hannah Montana movie. Miley is at an age where she's very aware of boys and she thinks David is not only cute, but really talented, too. Whether David (or shall we say his manager/Dad) takes her up on the movie offer remains to be seen.

Miley IS the New Britney in more ways than one. First, the ever-present wad of chewing gum in her mouth! Typical teenage stuff, but not photogenic. Second, she's got a coffee habit like Britney. Third, and most important, because she's super-popular, the paparazzi have decided she's their new number one target. The crowd of photogs around Miley grows bigger every day.

Miley Cyrus and her family got all dressed up and went to church on Easter Sunday, but with sermons still dancing in her head, she made a beeline for McDonald's as soon as she got out. The lucky teen can devour a large order of fries without a pang of guilt or embarrassment in full view of photographers.

Here's a nervy guy. Miley Cyrus was shopping at an LA mall and she stopped for a snack at Fuddruckers. This guy in the red shirt who works there was immediately smitten. He approached her and told her how cute she was and boldly asked for her phone number. Smart Miley told him she would take HIS number instead, and punched it into her phone. Now we're wondering: A -Will she call him? And B-Will he have a job tomorrow?

Miley Cyrus (pictured here with mom Tish) is lucky to have great parents. Not many kid performers are as fortunate as she is. Last Wednesday Miley was leaving her recording studio with her dad Billy Ray and an aggressive group of photographers ran up, pushing their big cameras at her face. Two of them started arguing and yelling profanities at each other. Miley looked startled and her dad hustled her into the car. He came back and pulled the photographers aside and quietly told them "Don't get so close with those cameras and NO CURSING- Miley's not used to that kind of language - she's home-schooled." The snappers really like Billy Ray because he's always nice to them, so they adjusted their behavior.

Miley Cyrus is a kid at heart but sometimes she DOES dress provocatively for her age. Yet Miley insists that her dad Billy Ray approves of her outfits before she even sees them! Miley's stylists show their selections to daddy and he eliminates what he deems inappropriate before Miley gets a look. Her stylists told Miley that she would be surprised by what her dad vetoes. Miley goes along with her dad's rules for now because he's been so agreeable about letting her got to premiers and special events like the Oscars.

For some reason you don't see a lot of photos of Miley Ray Cyrus and her mom Tish - she's usually photographed with her dad Billy Ray. (At least we THINK this is her mom- can anyone out there positively identify her?) The two had a Valentine's Day lunch at The Ivy and as soon as they got up to leave, typical teenager Miley started texting like mad.

Fifteen year old Miley Cyrus is looking awfully mature in this teensy dress and high heels (which happen to be stuck in the grass.) She was seen at TWO Hollywood clubs this night - Avalon and Social. She actually looks old enough to get past security - let's hope she doesn't take advantage of that fact.

Billy Ray Cyrus took his other kids and their dog for some fun in Central Park while his daughter Miley got ready for her New York concert at Nassau Coliseum. A source who works on Hannah Montana says that Billy Ray is "the nicest, most down-to-earth guy imaginable." Apparently he's friendly with everyone on the set and extremely well-liked. His co-workers think he's a great father also. Billy's come a long way since Achy Breaky Heart.
