So THAT's how Meryl Streep is making herself tall enough to pass for Julia Child! (Meryl is currently filming "Julie & Julia" in Manhattan.) Take a look at those high wedgies. Meryl is only 5'6" and Julia, who incidentally was born in Pasadena, was a very memorable and hulking 6'2". Meryl always likes to be authentic in her roles, so she would insist on appearing tall. We're betting her shoes will always be out of camera range.

Meryl Streep is a good actress but a tad over-rated. Most everything she is in starts off promising but turns out boring.
Julia LOVED sex with her husband. Talked about it all the time. Hummmm wonder if the movie will portray that?
